We had the good fortune of connecting with Emmanuelle Blanc and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Emmanuelle, how do you think about risk?
In my life, risk-taking isn’t just planning or a strategy, I listen to my intuition and follow my heart, which guides me through the unpredictable journey of life. it’s a part of who I am.

Picture wearing high heels on a rugged path – challenging, yet I manage to walk with confidence. From my days in Paris, where creativity was my lifeline, to the vibrant streets of India where going barefoot became my new normal, risk has been my constant companion.

Risk, to me, is like an invitation to a dance, a tango with the unknown. It has profoundly shaped my career and life. Each daring step, from launching into the fashion world with Miss Be to navigating the unforeseen closure of my beloved business, has propelled me closer to my authentic self.

Standing amidst the ruins of my fashion empire after the earthquake in Nepal, the choice was clear – crumble or recreate. I chose recreation, diving into the unknown world of campervan rentals in Hawaii. This pivot not only led to business success, it also deepened my understanding of my resilience.

For me, taking risks means welcoming life’s myriad possibilities. It involves stepping into new realms, whether in business or personal growth and realizing that sometimes the greatest risk is doing nothing. Simply, trusting the process.

Now, as I guide beautiful souls, this philosophy is at the core. It’s about more than just external success; it’s about navigating internal fears and transformations.

My journey shows that resilience, self-love, and the courage to take risks can turn challenges into opportunities for a fulfilling life.

In the dance of risk, my steps are bold. Each one has led me to my current role – as a recreated queen, a self-love guide, a storyteller, a symbol of the power of welcoming the unknown, sometimes in high heels on uneven terrain.

The heART of Recreating Your Reality – Yourself

Art, for me, is not confined to a canvas or a sketchpad; it is the intricate weave of life itself.
My artistry is threaded through every facet of my existence, from the vibrant streets of Paris to the captivating scenic temples of Bali, from high fashion runways to the intimate setting of private retreats.

What sets me apart is my journey itself – a kaleidoscope of resilience, transformation, self-discovery, unwavering faith, and the manifestation of reality through rituals.

I began in the bustling lanes of Paris, finding solace in creativity. In India, amid its colors and chaos, I embraced a simpler existence. There, I welcomed the nomadic life, blending my passion for fashion with spiritual awakening. The result was more than a fashion label. I created Miss Be Addicted, a movement symbolizing feminine grace, empowerment, and strength.

The abrupt end of my fashion career marked a significant turning point. The challenges of identity, health, and beginning a new chapter in life were tough. During these trials, I discovered my true calling – guiding others through their transformation. My art evolved into rituals, words, and sacred spaces for healing and growth.

Along this path, I’ve learned the importance of resilience, the power of intuition, and the beauty of unleashing and sparking one’s authentic self. My journey exemplifies that every setback is an opportunity for a spectacular comeback, and every ending is a new beginning.

As a self-love guide and ritual creator, I want the world to understand that transformation is a tangible, lived reality. My brand and story are a guiding light for those navigating the unpredictable seas of change, offering a beacon of hope to find their inner peace, strength, and joy.

In this eternal cycle, my art is about connection – with oneself, others, and the Multiverse. It’s a dance of colors, emotions, and experiences, inviting everyone to join, find their rhythm, and discover their vibrant hues within life’s grand mosaic. I encourage everyone to be bold and unapologetically themselves. Dare to dance to the rhythm of your own heart.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Each person, place, and experience I mentioned has been a crucial thread in the kaleidoscope of my life. My father, Jean Blanc, embodied heroism in its truest form, teaching me the courage to dream and the resilience to face life’s ebbs and flows. He instilled in me the belief that every challenge is an opportunity for growth and recreation.

Marie Claire, my sister, always had faith in me, offering her unconditional love and support. Her belief in me never wavered, providing a constant source of encouragement throughout my journey.

Adam Twente, my best friend and business partner at Vanlife Maui, is the genius brain behind the engineering & building of fully equipped and sustainable campervans.
True magic happens when vision meets collaboration.

Marie-Jose Dubourg, my co-author for my first detective book “Merci pour le scoop,” played a vital role in my journey into the literary world. She helped me discover the power of words to express my narrative and connect with others on a profound level.

Jean Pierre Legay, a master of graphic design and photography, opened my eyes to the power of visual storytelling, enriching my ability to express myself creatively.

Annet Caminada, the master tailor, was not just a mentor in the art of fashion, she is a guiding light, taught me the essence of bringing visions to life adorning the world with unique, soulful creations, and I took off years later solo dressing up celebrities, published 5 times in Vogue, +100 fashion magazines spreads and several covers. Was known for my Burners’ gear, one size fits all, wedding gowns, and more, each piece a testament to the power of personalized, transformative fashion.

Smita Emmanuelle, my assistant in India, was an incredible companion in my journey, her dedication and insights were invaluable as we navigated the complexities of the fashion industry. Her presence in Miss Be’s career was foundational, offering essential skills, a deep understanding of the local language and culture, and an unyielding support that was vital to our success. Her contribution was more than professional; it was a harmonious blend of heart, wisdom, and dedication that helped shape the spirit of Miss Be.

The Miss Be team and the artists I collaborated with were stars in my sky, each adding their unique brilliance to my endeavors.

photographer Sequoia Emmanuelle, Jason Busby, Topher Adam, and Yellow Bubbles have brilliantly captured the essence of both myself and my work, creating extraordinary images that resonate with vibrancy and depth. Their lens has been instrumental in visually narrating my journey over the years.

My California Tribe, the cherished circle of friends in Nevada City and the City of Angels, has been a constant source of support and inspiration. Their camaraderie and shared creative spirit have been a beacon of light, enriching my life with meaningful connections and unforgettable experiences.

My close friends, clients, and the cultures that welcomed me in India, South Africa, the USA, and Bali, each taught me the beauty of diversity, the power of connection, and the joy of celebrating one’s roots. These experiences have been pivotal in shaping my understanding of the world and my place within it.

The movie “The Woman King” resonated with my spirit – a story of strength, leadership, and the indomitable spirit of women, echoing the themes of my own life.
