We had the good fortune of connecting with Endia Richardson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Endia, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
My business helps the community by giving women support without judgment, hope and holistic alternative to everyday issues and more serious issues.

I have supported numerous women through trauma, fertility issues, fibroids, Pcos, endometriosis and many more all while educating them on ways to have a healthier lifestyle and reproductive system.

What should our readers know about your business?
When I started my Vaginal Steaming business in 2015 it wasn’t easy at all. This was a new holistic treatment that many woman never heard of. So many would laugh at me and make jokes about ” detoxing your vagina”. I didn’t let that discourage me. Once I started sharing testimonials from my clients with other women they were intrigued to see if it would help them also.

My bold and confident branding sets me apart from others. I believe in having fun while getting my message across. I show proof that my services and products work.

I worked very hard to get where I am today by working endless hours, staying creative, coming across people who love my services and didn’t mind sharing testimonials and staying passionate about why I started.

I have learned to believe in myself! My guides won’t lead me astray. I have survive and flourished through this pandemic. I feel I can do anything. That my services and products will always be needed.

I want the world to know I started this business out of PASSION and LOVE for helping women. This idea sparked in 2013. This was not popular, this was not a trend and I was one of few people that offered this service here in the DMV. I feel I am living in my purpose, I feel fulfilled doing this work.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Some of my favorite spots in the city may be different from others because I am always into taking care of myself.
