Meet Endrew Patrick | DJ Drew – International DJ

We had the good fortune of connecting with Endrew Patrick and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Endrew, other than deciding to work for yourself, what was the single most important decision you made that contributed to your success?
Moving to Dallas, Texas…..It helped me with building my platform as a DJ and getting my name out there to other DJ’s & Promoter’s Located inside or outside of Texas and getting opportunities that I’ve never have had back even when I was living in South Dakota. Because Texas itself is a open market it really is, I see DJ’s & Promoters working everyday getting to the bag whether it’s a Day Party, Brunch, Wedding, Pool Party, Cooking Fest, Sports Events, and etc in cities all over Texas so it really keeps us busy even me myself that’s why I really tell people that moving to Dallas was the single most important decision i made that contributed to my success.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Not really much sets me apart from other DJ’s because were all really good at what we do like one DJ could be known for Amapiano or Afrobeats or Soca or Dancehall or Trap Music just one of those genres he could be very dominant in unless he can be dominant at all of em which really doesn’t separate me from that. What I get excited or proud about is Traveling & Meeting new people it really excites me seeing the world and learning new things about people and their culture. Getting to where I am today was not easy a lot of Bad Decisions or Shiesty Friends or People Tryna Take Advantage but I held my head high and made it through the storm that’s why when people ask “Drew you came alone” I tell them Yes I’m solo dolo when it comes to certain things, I’ve learned a lot along the way with past mistakes & relationships and things I’ve done that I have to live with but you just have to accept it and move on can’t sit there forever just being upset or keep thinking about that situation or that person anymore. I really want to show the world that anything is possible as long as you put your mind to it and put in the hard work cause nothing comes free in this world you have to get up and work for it, eventually somebody will see and appreciate it might even offer you a job, I got friends that are now celebrities or in the NFL and NBA which I eventually wanna be DJing in Arenas Or Super-domes around the world.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Monday – we would to STIRR in Addison and go day drinking, then later that night would check out The Red Room or Culture Cuisine. Tuesday – Paint Ball Shooting & Go Kart Racing then check out Ladies Lounge
Wednesday- Seafood at Red Crab then The Hideaway shoot some pool & Check out Abi’s Hookah Lounge
Thursday – Skydiving most definitely then the gun range, later that night head over to Velvet Hookah Lounge where I DJ at then Head over to Abi’s Hookah Lounge
Friday – Bar Hop during the day then get some Tacos at Fuel City then go to GVO Bar then to Abi’s Hookah Lounge for the night
Saturday – a Rooftop Party and get some Sun then go eat at a steakhouse later go to Friends Hookah Lounge where I DJ at then go to Arena Lounge
Sunday – Day Party & Eat then go to Palms downtown then go to Opera and have some fun then go to Xsheesha for the night.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Duceflacko – CEO of GVO Nightlife every Thursday at Velvet Hookah Lounge, and Bulak Kual – CEO of Sudanese Hollywood Entertainment, These 2 Deserve The most upright credit to the position I’m in we went from Strangers to Friends to Brothers and now we’re Family all within a span of 5-6yrs. I met Duce & Bulak back in 2017 at this event we do every year called “Ross Madness” that first year I came as a guest but Duce found out that I was a DJ and had some weight to it and I was young so he knew Young DJ + Crowd = $$$ so we spoke about 2018 for me to come and DJ so we locked it in and everything went up from there, and Bulak haha we met at The Boat Party. My friend Johnny gave me a boat ticket which I did not know it was a fake lol so he was like “go get on the boat” and me like an id*ot went up to Bulak and gave him the ticket, he looked at me and was like “Aye bro this ain’t the tickets I gave out” then I was like “Johnny gave it to me” he said “okay tell him come here” so Johnny came and was like “Yea what’s up what’s the issue” and Bulak was like “Aye these tickets are fake cause I signed them on the back and you ain’t come buy none from me last night but the boat bout to leave so I’ll be reasonable with you there’s 7 of y’all so I need $560 by 8pm on the dot cause that’s when the boat returns” so Johnny says “okay bet” we get on the boat and return and the #1 thing about Bulak is he don’t play bout his money haha he was the first one off that boat waiting for Johnny” and that’s how I met Bulak, but Meeting Duce & B helped me out a lot I couldn’t thank them enough, if my career ever puts me in a position where I start working with a Record Label permanently they the first 2 coming with me 100% and not only them 2 there’s more people trust me but They my family and I got them for life.
