Meet Eric Feiner | Eric Feiner | Realtor & Wealth Builder

We had the good fortune of connecting with Eric Feiner and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Eric, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
I am originally from Brooklyn, New York and then just outside of the city in New Jersey. I attended school in Washington, DC. I believe that I was always a ‘city” person. The fast pace of so much going keeps my brain and thoughts very active. This impacts me today in that I am very inquisitive, and love too meet new people and learn about them.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a full time Realtor and have been for 13 years. I ‘fell’ into the business when I had to close down my video game publishing company and was trying to figure out what to do next. I was speaking with the agent I had worked with on several of my own home sales and purchases and asked if she felt I would be good at it. She gave me the encouragement to move forward. I now have a team of agents in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Los Angeles.
What sets me apart is that I am in no way a “salesperson”. I believe that real estate is a long game. Each one of my clients has unique reasons or needs for buying or selling, as well as their personalities, emotions, and style. I am able to work with each of these. (I love how each person is so different). Another thing that sets me apart is that I love challenges and an extension, I love strategy. Each transaction, like every person, is unique and presents their own challenges. I thrive on that. I thrive on the strategy to help my clients get to their desired goal.
I want the world to know that I value each and every one of my clients. I have learned so much from them. To see them happy, makes me happy. To resolve their concerns, gives me such satisfaction. I also want the world to know that I love what I do and I believe that it comes with the people I work with, not only my clients, but other agents, financial institutions, escrow companies, inspectors, etc.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live in West Hollywood, so there is more than enough to do just here, from restaurants and bars, to music venues, and of course shopping.
I would make sure to take them to the beach at sunset. I find that magical, seeing the sun over the Pacific.
Of course, depending on their interests, I would take them hiking, or to museums, theme parks, drive along the coast, or show them all the wonderful neighborhoods that are all over the place.
My favorite question to ask people I meet in LA is, “where are you from” as so many people are not from LA. This immediately opens up a conversation. I have met so many amazing people this way, from not only here in LA but from all over the country and the world.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have had many mentors in my life. The most important one said something that has stuck with me for what seems like forever. “Know what you know, Know what you don’t know. And seek the answers for what you don’t know by someone who does”. Basically, a person can not know everything or be an expert in everything, and that is ok. It is ok to not know something. But you should be comfortable in asking someone who does.
