Meet Eric Jordan: Designer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Eric Jordan and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Eric, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Life is a risk. However, I feel, most people view this in reverse. Often the big endeavor is looked at as a risk. I think, it is risky to diminish success before even attempting. In other words, not going for it is what should be looked at as a risk. In my life risk has yielded both failure and beauty. Having children is a risk. Their life is the reward. Working for myself is a risk, freedom and significance is the reward. Without working through the risk, it is difficult to know what wonders await you on the other side.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My agency designs product launches in the form of e-commerce stores + branding. I’m always excited to help someone or a corporation expand on their idea, refine it and put it out in the world. It has been a journey to get here. I’ve bundled years of experience of working in house for brands and firms, put them together and built my own. It isn’t easy to maintain creativity, high energy, winning solutions everyday while being just as present as a husband and father but it is necessary. What sets me apart, I let me personality come through in my design work for my clients. Overcoming challenges is a daily practice. Healthy helpful habits, I’ve learned is the way win no matter the arena. My aim is to arm and advocate for people to direct their own deposits, the lessen the dependancy on anyone else and to do this by way of their own store. In addition to my design agency that designs and launches products, I continuously update my course called Mobile Moves. This course packs what I’ve learned in this industry for years, and put it in simple terms and lessons for people to learn how design their own brand, product and store themselves using just their iPhone, no experience needed.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to shoutout my wife Maya Jordan. She has released a children’s album and workbook alongside our eldest daughter. All written, designed, filmed and performed by them. The project is called Triple E Philosophy. Their support and efforts continue to push me. In addition, my text thread with my brother friends is an ongoing, unconditional push for the better, daily.
