We had the good fortune of connecting with Erica Hubbard and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Erica, how do you think about risk?
Taking risks selecting roles to portray is vital to sustain longevity in the entertainment industry. You want to perform different roles on projects with a variety of storylines & characters to keep your career interesting and exciting.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I feel what sets me apart from a lot of people in my profession is who I learned & trained with in the entertainment industry was Sheldon Patinkin. I am most proud that I am a NAACP Theater Nominated Actress which helped me hone my craft as a television & film actress. I over came challenges by surrounding myself around excellent mentors and my journey was easier because of the ongoing people in my life who constantly encourage me! An important lesson I learned in life is to love the (up’s & down’s) process & no matter what be grateful. While you are waiting for an opportunity stay busy with a hobby and enjoy life until your dream comes to life. I want people to feel inspired by my persistence & determination and never ever give up in life no what matter what goals you pursue and aim for!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The most fun and exciting place I visited was Tahiti. I would definitely visit there again and have friends party with me! While vacationing there we are exotic fruit, stayed in an overwater bungalow in the ocean with a glass floor, watched sharks swim, and relaxed on the white-sand beaches. The Island of Tahiti is most definitely paradise vacation.
