We had the good fortune of connecting with Euphemia Russell and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Euphemia, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
I offer people opportunities to explore the full range of their pleasure with practices, tools, and information.
These spaces in coaching sessions, facilitated group spaces, and resources.
Connecting to our pleasure connects us with our bodies, our aliveness, our choices, and our joy.
Pleasurable actions and feelings buoy us and increase our capacity to navigate intense times personally and collectively.
What should our readers know about your business?
I split my business into coaching, workshops, and writing and I love this combination.
I see pleasure as more than sexual pleasure. It is something we can pause, and explore our choices for in each moment. We cultivate our pleasure in all parts of our life, not just in sex.
I have a background in Community Development, so my pleasure work is hugely influenced by social justice and seeing that our challenges with pleasure are collective and structural. We all think we’re the only ones fumbling, but the system doesn’t support our pleasure.
I just finished writing a book which will be published very soon!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Shout out to my clients who show up for themselves, their pleasure. Thank you for trusting me, and in turn trusting yourself more deeply. It’s an honour to work with each of you!
