Meet Eva Lopez | Copywriter

We had the good fortune of connecting with Eva Lopez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Eva, how does your business help the community?
We’re living in uncertain times, where small businesses are fighting to stand out, and even ChatGPT is churning out the same stale content. It’s hard for businesses to show why they’re different and convince people their service can make a real impact. That’s where I come in—I create copy that connects on a human level, showing the heart and value behind a business. Because when your story stands out, you don’t just get noticed, you drive change.

What should our readers know about your business?
I’ve always been a storyteller at heart. Even as a kid, I found it easier to explain myself through writing rather than speaking. That passion for connecting through words only grew during my nearly 10 years in education, where I taught elementary students. I had to find creative ways to spark their interest, whether through reading, science, or writing. It was in that classroom setting that I learned how to engage different personalities and adapt messaging to resonate with each individual.
Then, when Covid turned everything upside down, my family had to make adjustments, and I saw an opportunity to explore copywriting. It wasn’t easy figuring out how to break into a new industry, but something inside told me this was my path. Slowly but surely, I found my footing and realized that helping businesses shape and share their stories was what I was meant to do.
Today, I work with service-based businesses and entrepreneurs, helping them stand out in a world where it feels like everyone is saying the same thing. I take the time to listen deeply and bring their unique stories to life.
For example, I once worked with a SaaS client who was feeling drained and disconnected from his own message. Together, we unpacked his story, shifting his perspective and helping him see his business in a new light. It changed how he approached his clients and reignited his purpose. Some clients have even called me the “Marie Kondo” of words because I help them declutter their messaging and find the perfect way to connect with their audience.
At the heart of it, I believe selling isn’t about polished buzzwords but creating an authentic story that resonates with people on a human level. That’s what I want people to know about my brand. I’m here to help tell the stories that matter, highlight the value others might not see, and empower businesses to make meaningful, lasting connections. For me, this is more than work; it’s what lights me up every day.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were visiting Walnut, I’d start by taking them to some amazing local spots for food and drinks. We’d hit up Prince Dumpling or Thumbling for soup dumplings, followed by a visit to one of my favorite tea shops like Tiger Sugar, Toroto Tea, or Goomo for boba and delicious drinks. Of course, no trip would be complete without a day at Disneyland for some magic and fun. With great food, drinks, and a little adventure, it’d be a visit to remember!
