Hi Fancy, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I believe what makes my brand successful is my consistency. I always ensure that I remain consistent, even though it isn’t easy. I often receive compliments and rewards for this effort and it keeps me going.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I created a perfume called Simply Fancy, a floral fragrance designed to exude the essence of self-love and femininity. It wasn’t easy turning my passion for perfume into a business, but I took a chance, knowing the greatest regret would be not trying at all. Now, it’s doing well—people buy it and love it, which makes me incredibly happy. I want the world to know that women can have their own businesses and be successful. When women support each other, that support comes back tenfold.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my friend came to town for a week, I would take them to Malibu because it’s beautiful and iconic. I’d plan a nice lunch, followed by a beach day, and then we’d go to a local bar to dance the night away. It would be so much fun!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give a shout-out to my best friend, Sharon Ademefun. She is an incredibly hard worker, a dedicated mom, and wife, and runs multiple businesses. She is truly inspiring.
