Meet Felix Fooks | Residential & Commercial Real Estate Professional

We had the good fortune of connecting with Felix Fooks and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Felix, we’d love to start by asking you about lessons learned. Is there a lesson you can share with us?
Throughout my career, there have been countless moments when I considered changing my profession. However, my passion, desire, and persistence have kept me motivated. Reflecting on these challenges, I realize that it is during these tough times that we learn the most valuable life lessons. To summarize: NEVER GIVE UP!

What should our readers know about your business?
My business is dedicated to providing exceptional real estate services for both residential and commercial clients. Since becoming licensed in 2011, I have worked tirelessly to establish a reputation grounded in reliability and integrity—principles that guide every interaction with my clients. My journey began in my teenage years as a telemarketer, where I discovered my passion for sales and developed a strong foundation for my career in real estate.
Transitioning into the real estate industry, I embraced the challenges that came my way. Each experience taught me invaluable lessons about the importance of nurturing strong relationships with clients. I believe real estate is not just about transactions; it’s about connecting with people and understanding their needs. I take great pride in the bonds I’ve formed with my clients, ensuring they feel supported every step of the way.
Building a dedicated team has been one of my greatest accomplishments. Together, we’ve created a collaborative environment that fosters creativity and support, allowing us to provide outstanding service. Witnessing our growth and the positive impact we have on our clients is incredibly fulfilling and motivates me to strive for excellence every day.
However, the journey has not always been straightforward. I’ve faced challenges, including the uncertainty of commissions and the need to adapt to unpredictable environments. Yet, these hurdles have made me stronger and more resilient. Through persistence and a genuine willingness to learn, I’ve turned setbacks into growth opportunities, often seeking guidance from mentors who offered valuable insights along the way.
I’ve learned that patience and adaptability are essential in the evolving real estate landscape. Building lasting relationships with clients and colleagues creates a supportive network that can weather any storm. Ultimately, I want the world to know that my dedication to my clients and team is unwavering. My brand is built on trust, integrity, and a commitment to excellence, and I believe in the power of collaboration to help us achieve our goals. I look forward to making a meaningful difference in the lives of my clients and the community we serve.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Oh, this is a scary question! I love food and am a self-proclaimed foodie. Those who know me will vouch for that. I would have to show them the iconic places of course, if they’ve never been to LA before. Places such as…
Hollywood Blvd
Rodeo Drive
Hollywood Sign
Mulholland Highway (drive a drive-through to see some views)
Can’t miss the beach, I love the water. I would drive down PCH. Start from Zuma area, then drive through Marina Del Rey through the Venice canals.
Fairfax District (although it hasn’t been the same in a while)
Venice Beach
Voda Spa (a relaxation day, incredible indoor spa, with tons of amenities)
More secret locations would be…
The Magic Castle
The Last Bookstore
Greystone Mansion and Park
The Getty Villa
Rooftop Cinema Club
El Matador Beach
LACMA Urban Light at Night
The Bradbury Building
Secret Stairs of Silver Lake
Now I feel like I was put on the spot with the questions. Some of the places I would share regarding food would be…
Sushi: SHU (Sushi House Unico) I’m a sucker for sushi, there are a lot of places that I can suggest, but this place is my go to.
Pasta: Madeo, incredible white truffle pasta
Steak: CUT
Burgers: Smash Burgers (Burger 3000 in Chatsworth) and regular burgers (Deux in Woodland Hills) it’s a French Restaurant, for whatever reason they have an amazing traditional burger.
Pizza: My normal place would be Mulberry’s Street Pizza, they have multiple locations, but my favorite I would have to say, Appalonia’s in mid-city on Wilshire. They have specific times they are open, but in my honest opinion, best pizza in LA.
Let me know if you’re interested in any other places, happy to share :).

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’ve been fortunate to learn and grow throughout my career, and much of that knowledge has come from independent exploration. I am deeply grateful to the few individuals who influenced me early on and helped shape my approach to business—thank you for your guidance.
I’d also like to give a shoutout to my friends, family, clients, and team. Thank you for your loyalty, trust, and respect over the years. I truly appreciate each of you.
Lastly, to my wife and two beautiful daughters: you three are my motivation and the driving force that helps me navigate through life’s challenges.
