We had the good fortune of connecting with Franck Mille and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Franck, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Here at BVFW, the most important factor is not just the pursuit of our dream, but learning how to enjoy the journey. Chasing our dreams is a bit like riding a rollercoaster, isn’t it? Sometimes it’s thrilling, and other times, it’s a wild ride. My team is focused on taking the right steps and learning with each one. That’s how we define success — experience and growth. It’s in those ups and downs that life gets interesting. As we hustle and bustle in the fashion and entertainment industries, I try not to forget to enjoy the journey. I mean, every stitch, every show, every crazy idea – that’s what makes it all so exciting. We try to soak up the moments, have some fun, and remember that life’s not just about the destination; it’s about the ride, too.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
When it comes to BVFW, it’s not just your run-of-the-mill fashion week. What sets it apart is the heart and soul we pour into it. It’s all about celebrating diversity, embracing creativity, and making fashion feel like a warm hug from your favorite sweater. Along the way, I’ve learned a thing or two – like, it’s not just about the glitz and glam, but also about building a tight-knit family. Lessons in patience, in staying true to our vision, and in creating something that truly resonates with folks. BVFW is more than just a fashion week; it’s a labor of love, and it’s those lessons that make it one-of-a-kind.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
BVFW is the nation’s #1 touring fashion event — so we’ve hit multiples cities and connected with all kinds of people. When we’re in Atlanta, it’s definitely southern brunch, maybe hitting up a local boutique for shopping and browsing at Ponce City Market. In Vegas, we’re on the strip and in LA, we’re in private showrooms or at one of our favorite spots like The Paper Tiger. The world is our playground, so wherever we go, we make it our own.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I definitely want to shoutout my brother and business partner, Angelo Diaz. We’ve worked, hustled, created and built our brand, Pretty Fly Society, brick-by-brick, since college. We’re still building. It takes so many hands and minds to make this machine work and we have a huge network and team of people behind the scenes that help to make everything happen. I’m incredibly thankful for our team and anyone who has had a hand in keeping our empire afloat. Of course, my children are my heart. They are the reason why I work so hard every day.
