We had the good fortune of connecting with Franky Nines and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Franky, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Stay authentic and true to your craft. What I found specifically with the type of art and community i’ve built in the NFT Space one of the secrets to my success is pouring my heart and soul into it. Keeping it relevant to me and what I like. Not necessarily chasing what I think its going to be cool, or what the new trend is. Sticking to my originality and flavor.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
With me theres a mix of playfulness and emotion within my art. In person I’m a pretty intense dude, though I love to have fun and am a jokester on about everything. My art is a way to for me to truly express myself. And with that, I love to make art that strikes emotion of joy, love, fear and laughter. Im a scorpio so its very black and white when it comes to me. And my artwork is all range of color.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Jump on some scooters and smash down skidrow. I love riding down 7th and 6th st to downtown. Take Main up and come back around through 3rd. Walking around lil tokyo is the best and landing in the Arts District for some food and a beer. Cant beat it. I love downtown and the east side of Los Angeles, I wouldn’t want to be any where else.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d love to shoutout all of the my team here at SupDucks. Creative Videographers, musicians and other folks that keep me inspired and motivated. Without them, I wouldn’t be able to do what I do.
