We had the good fortune of connecting with Gabella Correa and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gabella, what are you inspired by?
the people around me inspire me.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Throughout my photography journey my priority was always to meet and capture unique, diverse and beautiful people. I started photography to connect with all kinds of people. My portraits capture indivitality, thats always what I look for.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love to take them to Orange Circle. That’s my spot. I love the coffee shops and the antique shops. I will never miss a chance to take someone there who’s never been.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
A great appreciation to my highschool teacher, Mr. Lewis who always said that “You don’t need to go to Art school to be an Artist, You just have to keep doing it.” and always motivated me to not give up. and of course, Vela Scarves for being one of my first clients when I first moved to California. And still a constant, ongoing client.
