We had the good fortune of connecting with Giorgia Cavicchioli and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Giorgia, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?
Making some self-analysis, I think what makes me happy is making other people happy. I’ve always been that person in the room that make jokes, want to lift the spirt and is always with a smile on their face. That is why I think I’ve chosen art to express myself and I feel that is why comedy has chosen me.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
In this moment of my life, the only thing in my mind is my short film Serial Dater. It is a light comedy about my horrible love life and my path to find self-love and to take care of my mental health. I wrote, have been producing and we are going to shoot the movie very soon. My team and I are planning on launching it in the middle of the year. I am also the lead character in it and I can’t wait to introduce Gina to the world! This projet is way more than just a project in my life. It is my baby! It is a story that is super close to my heart and I think can help a lot of people to heal while they have a good time and smile.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Living in LA is a dream that came true. I used to see movies and documentaries about Hollywood and I used to think to myself: “one day I will be there”. So, I enjoy every single little spot in the city! I still have this tourist point of view about Los Angeles. I love this place. If I would need to recommend some places, I would recommend the beaches of Santa Monica, Venice and Malibu. There is nothing more beautiful than the sunset in Santa Monica. The hike to the Hollywood Sign and the Melrose Trading Post are great and fun places to go, and for the night I think Weho is the best place to go.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My older sister Giovanna Cavicchioli is someone that deserves a lot of recognition in my story. She has been my best friend since I was born. I don’t know what it would be of me without her and massive support. She has always supported me on my dreams and she cheer for me! I know there is no other person in this world that wants my success more than she wants. I miss her every single day, because I am living in LA and she lives in São Paulo, Brazil. But she is so present in every single achievement of mine in this career. I am super grateful to have her as my sister.
