We had the good fortune of connecting with Glenroy Brown and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Glenroy, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The thought process behind starting Aivara Advisory was rooted in ownership, control, and clarity. I was tired of seeing businesses—especially mid-sized ones—drown in complexity and inefficiency. I’ve been in rooms where the wrong people made decisions, where talent was underutilized, and where systems were outdated. I knew I could build something smarter.

Aivara Advisory was my way of creating a high-level, elite consulting firm that blends AI, automation, and strategy—but does it in a way that’s actually useful and profitable. No fluff, no gimmicks. Just clean execution. I wanted a structure that not only delivered results for clients but also protected me and my family long-term—legally, financially, and generationally.

Starting this wasn’t about chasing titles. It was about building a legacy, moving with intention, and creating an ecosystem where lean teams win and where technology doesn’t replace people—it enhances them.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Aivara Advisory isn’t just another consulting firm—it’s a blueprint for how modern businesses should run. We help companies scale smarter by combining AI, systems, and human-first strategy. I built it with the intention to strip out the noise, cut the bloat, and create real growth frameworks that work across sales, operations, and marketing.

What sets us apart is that we don’t just consult—we build. We automate. We execute. Aivara is lean by design but delivers like a high-end firm because we understand how to use tech as leverage, not a gimmick.

Getting here wasn’t easy. I started with nothing but my name, my work ethic, and a deep belief that I could create something real. I’ve faced setbacks that would’ve made most people quit, but I used them as fuel. Every challenge taught me how to stay calm under pressure, move with clarity, and outthink problems—not just outwork them.

What I’m most proud of is that I didn’t just build a business—I created a platform for legacy. Aivara is about long-term thinking, clean structure, and helping others unlock the next level in their growth. If there’s one thing I want the world to know about our brand, it’s this: we’re not here to play the game—we’re here to change it.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting, I’d make sure they experienced San Diego the way I live it—chill, intentional, and high quality. We’d start with brunch at Morning Glory in Little Italy—vibes are elite, and the food hits every time. After that, we’d walk the waterfront, maybe hit Seaport Village or Coronado for views and peace.

Midweek, we’d head up to Encinitas or La Jolla for a coastal recharge—clean air, quiet energy, and deep conversations.

For dinners, it’s all about a mix: steakhouse night at Born and Raised, tacos from The Taco Stand, and one night with rooftop drinks at Cannonball in Mission Beach to catch sunset over the ocean.

For a mix of work and elevation, we’d tap into a private work session at a members-only coworking spot—something upscale—so they could feel the blend of ambition and luxury I keep around me.

Saturday? It’s an early gym session or hike at Torrey Pines, then a beach reset. Sunday we’d keep it mellow: café run, spa or float session, and good convo. That’s how I recharge. That’s how I host.

San Diego’s got all the fun if you know where to look—but the real gems are in the rhythm. My goal would be to make sure they leave inspired, not just entertained.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to the people and forces that kept me anchored during every stage of this journey. First, my kids—my why. They’ve given everything I do a deeper meaning and pushed me to move with legacy in mind, not just success.

To the mentors and voices of wisdom who showed up when I needed clarity, not clout—thank you. Your honesty, strategy, and belief helped sharpen my vision and kept me focused on the bigger picture.

And above all, I have to acknowledge God. Every setback, every closed door, every test was a setup for what I was being prepared for. Faith was the thread that held it all together when nothing else made sense.

This path wasn’t handed to me—it was carved with grit, intention, and a whole lot of prayer. So this shoutout goes to those who poured into me, even when I had nothing to give back yet
