We had the good fortune of connecting with Gregory Andonian, MD and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gregory, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Since I was a child, I had always wanted to become a physician, and after finishing medical school and getting into residency, I became interested in aesthetic medicine and how it can impact people’s lives, especially how it makes them feel on the inside and not just the outside. Aesthetics was a field that attracted me because of its detail-oriented and hands-on nature with people and procedures, as well as the connections it makes with them on a personal level and the rapport and journey you have with people. It was then that I decided to get into the field of aesthetics, learning all that I can during my residency. After finishing my residency, I began my medical practice as a hospitalist; however, I never lost that interest in aesthetics, and after some time, I decided to become fully trained and board-certified in aesthetic medicine with the American Board of Aesthetic Medicine. It was this passion for transforming lives that was the main factor and thought process of opening up Andon Aesthetics after becoming board certified in aesthetic medicine in order to provide patients the best aesthetic procedures and results on the principle of honesty, ethics, and morality, always endeavoring to provide patients with what they need to look and feel younger without compromising or risking their well-being. 

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Andon Aesthetics is a highly rated medical spa/aesthetics practice that provides and specializes in cutting edge as well as tried and true aesthetics procedures for patients to provide them with the best results in order to look and feel younger and refreshed. We are known for and specialize in facial analysis and balancing as well as a comprehensive approach that includes all areas of aging in order to provide the appropriate aesthetic procedures to obtain not only the results you’re looking for but also to look and feel younger on the inside and out. What sets us apart from others is our approach to patients, not only in developing a rapport with them but also recommending only what they need to look and feel younger while taking into consideration their desired results as they set out on their journey of looking and feeling younger. Our motto is that this is a marathon, not a sprint, and your journey starts with choosing the best and right procedures to get you looking and feeling younger. We are most proud of how we can provide full facial balancing and rejuvenation using various products like fillers, biostimulators, PRP/PRF, exosomes, PDO threads, and neuromodulators, to name a few, as well as lasers, microneedling, and peels, in addition to other areas like the neck, chest and hands. We are also proud of the fact that your journey and visit does not just start and stop in the office but continues after you go home with skin care products that we provide and recommend in order to maintain that look. We pride ourselves in recommending only procedures and products that work and provide real results. We have all tried and tested each product and procedure that we provide, which gives us a better insight into recommending things for our patients as well as providing them with the best recommendations possible. We also are proud of providing real world results on our social media pages to show people what real results look like, we do not photoshop or enhance anything and all our patients before and after photographs are taken in the same setting, lighting and positions in order to show real world results for realistic expectations. We like to say that you should look enhanced, younger, and fresh, and the best compliments we get are when our patients tell us that their friends and family ask if they had something done because they look younger, but they can’t tell that anything was done. We would like your readers to know that we provide everything from simple to advanced aesthetic procedures that we tailor to each patient in order to achieve the best results possible. 

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Of course the first place would be a stop at Andon Aesthetics to get the best procedures so that you look even better and more rested when you get back home. The next would be Malibu for a day where you can enjoy great food and drinks while enjoying the California coast line and weather, we can’t recommend that without wearing your sun screen, a must for everyone. Of course a trip to LA would have to include Disneyland next where you can enjoy the magic kingdom in all it has to offer. We would then round the trip off with fine dining in Beverly Hills followed by a quick drive down to Hollywood to see the walk of fame and enjoy all the night life with the many clubs and bars. The final stop to cap it all of would be the sunset strip to enjoy even more fine dining and drinks and even maybe spot a famous person or two.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The two biggest factors in my life that I would contribute to my success that deserve credit and recognition would be my family, both home and work, and the American Board of Aesthetic Medicine. It is thanks to my daughter and son that I continuously strive to do and be better as well as my office staff, my NP Gaia Mkrtchyan and my RN Jenny Orquiola that provide me with support to keep the business growing and the American Board of Aesthetic Medicine that continues to provide me mentorship, support and the ability to teach and train the next generation of Aesthetic providers.
