We had the good fortune of connecting with Gregory Gordon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gregory, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I fully believe in taking risk in your career and in life. I think life is too short to play it safe. Most major success comes from taking risk & betting on one’s self. I don’t think I would be where I am today if I didn’t take chances. I’ve seen success in just stepping out and it paid off; so i will always tell others to be brave go for it.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
As an actor, what sets me apart from the crowd is my ability to adapt in situations that call for quick change. When your working on television shows you have to be quick on your feet with the changes they might throw at you and this is a skill I’ve gained over the years of being in this business.

I think if you take anything from my story it would be to learn the ability to adapt in life and on set and enjoy the journey.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
One of my favorite spots I like to take my family and friends to when they come to Los Angeles is Santa Monica Pier & beach. It’s a great tourist spot for people who visit LA for the first time. You can hang out at the beach, visit the boardwalk that many restaurant options, the gifts shops, and see a variety of street performers. I also enjoy the amusment park, eating all the fair food, and playing a variety of games in the arcades.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to shout out my wife and friend Apryl P. Gordon she is the one that holds me down at all time’s. She’s always been my number one fan since the beginning and has made my “why” even stronger.
