We had the good fortune of connecting with Gwendolyn Osborne and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Gwendolyn, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
Since learning that balance in life is not a destination but a consistent act we engage in every day, it has taken so much pressure off. I constantly stay aware of how much attention I am giving myself, my children and my business. One thing can bleed into another but as Long as it’s bringing joy in some way it’s not stressful.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
It took a long time for me to realize my own ‘magic’ To recognize that there is only one me in this world. Becoming an Amazon in Wonder Woman 1984 changed me in so many ways. Overcoming different kinds of pain to be able to work on that film enabled me to really see myself for who I am and gain my life purpose. Recognizing the Wonder Woman within myself inspired me to learn and share about the Wonder Women in my life. Supporting and uplifting other women in their journey on my podcast brings me such joy. Sharing a product that heals and makes you feel like you’re at a spa is the joy I get to bring to everyone with my facial oil ‘Lomolique’. Www.lomoliqueskin.com
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The beach! Malibu beach Geoffreys or Paradise Cove restaurants depending on the time. Once things are open again we could stroll along the Santa Monica pier and watch the acrobats and martial arts going on. I love riding bikes from Santa Monica to venice beach and back also. Any of the fantastic hikes, I love Fryman Canyon but there’s also the paradise falls trail with waterfalls. Stunning. Great place to sit and meditate and enjoy the sounds of nature. We would definitely fit some yoga in either at a class or on the beach. Mama Shelter is a boutique hotel which has a beautiful rooftop bar with great drinks and a view of hollywood that you’ll never forget. The drinks are also worth talking about too!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Yes! My incredible friend/mentor Tanya Delpozzo @delpozzojewelry, introduced me to the entrepreneur world. She has helped guide me into the hands of other supportive business women in the ‘More Than Me’ women’s networking company. I thank my kids for their patience with me through the grind. Shout out to my tribe of framily and friends who have believed in me.
