Today we’re excited to be connecting with Haley Ringo Price again. If you haven’t already, we suggest you check out our prior conversation with them here.

Haley, thanks for joining us again. Just to level set a bit for folks who may have missed our last interview together, can you briefly introduce yourself?
I’m Haley Ringo Price (formerly Haley Ringo— I sold my soul and got married), and I’m an actor and screenwriter living in Nashville, TN. Entertaining people has been a huge part of my life, manifesting in many creative careers. For the past 13 years, I’ve been a photographer, and from 2018 to 2021, I produced and hosted LAnded Late Night on YouTube, where I forced LA’s finest to hang out with me on camera.

Fast forward to 2022—my husband and I moved to Nashville, and I had what professionals might call a 30-year-old existential crisis. I realized—probably mid-breakdown in a Trader Joe’s parking lot—that I wanted to spend the rest of my life acting and making films. My husband, ever the voice of reason, said, “Worst case? You’re terrible at it. And if that happens (which it won’t), you’ll find something else to do.” When he put it like that, I thought, Okay, fair point. Let’s do this.

At the time, my acting experience was mostly in improv from UCB and Groundlings in LA, so I jumped into an acting class in Nashville, where I met my now dear friend and co-writer Libby Green. Together, we wrote Broadway Bunnies, a feature film that’s now in pre-production and set to film this year.

Starting a brand-new career at 31 was mildly terrifying, but you know what’s even scarier? Hitting 80 and realizing I never took the leap toward what I was meant to do. So if you ever need a photographer who can also write a killer screenplay and deliver a solid comedic monologue, I’m your girl.

Great, so let’s jump into an update on what you have been up to since we last spoke. What can you share with us?
Since my last interview with Shoutout LA, life has been a whirlwind. My biggest update is that my feature film Broadway Bunnies is officially in pre-production! Co-writing and developing this script has been an absolute dream, and now seeing it come to life honestly feels surreal. There have been so many exciting milestones—collaborating with incredibly talented creatives, securing key partnerships, and growing in ways I never imagined. Of course, every journey comes with its challenges, but above all, I’m truly grateful to be doing what I love.

On top of that, I’ve been diving even deeper into acting, refining my craft, and seizing every opportunity to bring compelling, funny, and heartfelt stories to life. Last spring, I had the honor of starring as Helga in the live-action version of Milo: The Voyage to Atlantis—truly a dream role. It’s been a journey of pushing through fear, trusting my instincts, and living in a world that often feels half surreal. Right now, though, what excites me most is the momentum Broadway Bunnies is gaining, and i’m beyond excited for the day we finally get to share it with the world!

Life is often about tough choices – can you talk to us about your thought process, strategy or philosophy when it comes to making difficult choices or tradeoffs.
The past two years have been filled with some tough decisions, and I’ve learned a lot through it all. The biggest takeaway for me has been the importance of trusting my gut instinct. It’s not always easy, but I’ve found that when I listen to that inner voice, things tend to work out in the best possible way. And beyond that, the best advice I can offer is to always approach every situation with kindness. Even in the toughest of situations, try to remember that most people are doing the best they can.
