We had the good fortune of connecting with Hannah Fira and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Hannah, what are you inspired by?
I feel most inspired by great stories. It has always been my greatest aspiration to tell stories that connect with people and entertain them in a deep and meaningful way. I feel so proud that we have created a purposeful story in our upcoming album From Vegas With Blood which is set to release at the end of November! It’s a vampirate fantasy adventure that tells the story of Fira and Vette as they set off to save their realm from the forces of Fear…the demon king who is threatening to destroy their home. I also am very much inspired by lifestyle fantasy play! I have always been involved in cosplay. For the last few years, I have been a member of the Sabretooth vampire clan as a part of the Endless Night Vampire events and community. This has also been a major inspiration and influence on our work. We even have a song called “Endless Night” that was inspired, both lyrically and musically, by the Endless Night events. Vette and I are so excited about our recent news announcing that we will be premiering the music video for that single at the Endless Night Virtual Vampire Ball on Halloween 2020. Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
The most unique part of our brand is the storyline that connects all the songs on our album. It is a vampirate fantasy adventure based around the “Beauty and the Beast” archetype. The story shows tremendous struggle and growth in the characters who are based on the real lives of the band members. I feel excited to expand our audience into cosplay and fantasy lifestyle markets. It has certainly been a challenge and a great deal of work to put together our work in a creative, well thought out, and aesthetic way. I have learned to never give up no matter how difficult things get or what doubts you may be struggling with. I have learned to work with my fears and love myself in every capacity, perhaps even especially the things that are most difficult to love. I would like the world to know that this is our life story. I really appreciate all the support we have had in manifesting this dream into reality!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would definitely go to Boardner’s…a lot. I would also probably take them to Huntington Botanical Gardens for tea. Actually, we would probably find lots of random cute places to have tea. Having tea is one of my favorite activities!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
