We had the good fortune of connecting with Heather Rebecca Wilson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Heather Rebecca, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
I was raised to believe that if I worked hard enough, I’d be rewarded — that productivity equaled worth. Over time, I’ve completely redefined that belief. I used to feel guilty for resting or even for following inspiration when it didn’t “fit” into a traditional work schedule.

Through my own healing and embodiment journey, I’ve come to understand that true balance isn’t about managing time — it’s about aligning energy. As female-bodied beings, we are living reflections of Mother Nature herself: cyclical, seasonal, and constantly evolving. Forcing myself to operate according to artificial calendars and patriarchal timelines led to burnout and disconnection.

Now, I live and work in rhythm with my body, the moon, and the cosmos. As a Generator in Human Design, my sacral energy is my compass — when I feel that “hum” of excitement, that full-body yes, I know I’m in alignment. And as a Galactic Astrologer, I consciously plan around astrological transits and lunar cycles to honor the natural flow of creation and rest.

Balance, to me, isn’t about perfection or equal parts. It’s about right timing, right energy, and right relationship with myself. It’s been a journey of remembering that rest is sacred, and inspiration is guidance — not indulgence.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My work is a living fusion of ancestral healing, astrology, embodiment, and leadership activation. As an Astro-Ancestral Healing Guide and Embodied Empowerment Mentor, I help visionary beings — especially women and culture shapers — release inherited patterns, remember their divine blueprint, and lead from embodied wholeness. My approach integrates Quantum Soul Guidance Galactic Astrology, feminine embodiment practices including but not limited to the Jade/Crystal Egg practice, and ancestral wisdom traditions to bridge the sacred and the practical.

What sets my work apart is that it’s deeply decolonial, somatic, and cyclical. I don’t just interpret charts — I support people in living their cosmic and ancestral design. My clients often describe the work as both spiritual remembrance and nervous system repair — a homecoming to the self that ripples through their families, communities, and creative callings.

It hasn’t been an easy path. I’ve had to unlearn the belief that worth is earned through exhaustion, and to heal internalized narratives about success, identity, and belonging. Walking the path of a multiracial woman devoted to both ancestral reverence and cultural renewal means holding paradox with grace. It’s taken courage to honor my intuitive gifts, trust my body’s timing, and let my work evolve in rhythm with the seasons of my own becoming.

What I’m most proud of is that this work is alive. It grows as I do — and it’s transforming lives all over the world.

The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that healing and success are not linear — they’re cyclical. And every time we choose alignment over approval, rest over rushing, truth over performance, we re-write history in real time.

What I want the world to know is that our liberation is sacred, and when we lead from authenticity and ancestral reverence, we become living embodiments of a new world in bloom.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I live in Venice, so we’d definitely start close to home with breakfast at Superba — their cheesy eggs and Spanish lattes are perfection. For lunch, I’d take them up the coast to Broad Street Oyster Company in Malibu for their iconic lobster rolls and ocean views. Dinner at RVR always feels like a treat, and we’d wrap the night with a scoop (or two) from Ginger’s Divine Ice Creams — because dessert is my love language.

I’m a big fan of good food and good vibes, so we’d balance it out with something inspiring and beautiful — like an afternoon at the Getty Villa, soaking in art, architecture, and that timeless Mediterranean energy. We’d go people watching on the Venice Boardwalk, catch the sunset, and maybe wander Abbot Kinney for a little boutique magic.

And of course, no week would be complete without a stop at American Beauty — their burgers, kale salad, and fresh lemonade are simple but unforgettable. Honestly, we’re spoiled for good food and soulful experiences here — Venice always finds a way to feed both the body and the spirit.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d love to give a heartfelt shoutout to Julia Balaz, creator of the Quantum Soul Guidance Galactic Astrology modality. Her pioneering work opened an entirely new dimension of understanding for me — one that bridges astrology, ancestral healing, soul purpose, and the greater cosmic story we each carry.

Integrating her teachings into my Astro-Ancestral Healing Alchemy practice has deepened my ability to help clients remember their divine origins and reconnect with their galactic and ancestral wisdom. Julia’s generosity of spirit, devotion to truth, and visionary leadership have been profoundly inspiring.
