We had the good fortune of connecting with Heaven Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Heaven, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
I came up with the idea for my business because I noticed that when I would light candles I would get a slight headache, and at the time I also wasn’t in the right state of mind. so I wanted to create candles that were eco friendly and helped evaluate people’s moods.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m still in school studying to get my BA in Human Resource Management, I currently work at a homeless shelter for youth and I have been working in homeless services for the past three years. My Journey has not been easy I would never thought I would end up with this profession but I love what I do I love helping people in any way possible. I have learned many lessons along the way the biggest lesson that I have learned is to be patient with people and to be grateful for everything that I have. I want the world to know that I am in this for the long run, I help people and my brand as well helps people.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take my best friend to the beach most definately Santa Monica Peir, I would also take them to Downtown Disney to go shopping and eat. some things to go checkout in the city are the LA Zoo, the stores on melrose and once again I would say Venice Beach or any of the beaches in LA.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I definitely want to shoutout my mom she has been there for my business since day one, she is always helping out and giving me advice. I also want to shoutout my group of personal and business friends (they know who they are) they are always uplifting me and showing me endless support throughout this whole time.
