We had the good fortune of connecting with Heidi Nicolle and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Heidi, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
Through my Brand Heidiisms, I am on a mission to Make LOVE go VIRAL. I want at least one day in the world without hate. I am asking my community of “ISMSbabes” to help spread the Love by sharing a video using my LOVE filter on IG (stories) with your own message of LOVE. If you haven’t heard of our community yet, first welcome….You are loved here! Second, our ISMS are all our personality traits and everything that makes us, well us. So many times we will believe in parts of ourselves but not all of ourselves. That’s why I started Heidiisms. To inspire me and others, to remind myself & everyone how truly amazing all of our ISMS are AND to make LOVE go VIRAL!! I really hope you love your new family here at Heidiisms. Thank you so much for believing in me, each other and all our ISMS!!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I love creating content. I’m a photographer, an artist, a weirdo (yes I will admit it) and just so many things. It took me a long time to believe in all of me- the good, the bad, even the ugly because we as humans are all these things wrapped into one. It took me a while to get where I’m at today and that’s okay. I think especially in my generation we want the end result but once you realize it’s the journey- the laughs, the cries, the raw, unfiltered emotions and memories that truly matter you start to look at life in well a different light.

So what lessons did I learn along the way:

One you can’t change others- you can only change yourself. You can care but you can’t change. Let go of the control and it’s okay to walk away from things and love people from a distance. I’ve learned I can help and inspire others the best when I’m the happiest so I need to protect my happy at all costs.

Two if your hurting- hurting someone else won’t fix your pain. You just cause more sadness, hurt and hate in the world. I try to see everything from a place of love. I see so much hate coming from those that are wounded birds themselves and instead of asking for love they lash out hoping it will make them feel better. From being on social media for years now, I’ve seen it all and really have tried to understand where all the Hate is coming from so we can start to unteach hate and let LOVE in.

Heidiisms or our ISMS community was created as a place I could share my story and it turned into an amazing community of people who believe in each other. We are a family, an army kinda- like an army of LOVE on a mission to make LOVE go VIRAL.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I can NOT wait to start traveling and showing my friends around Los Angeles. I grew up on the East Coast so many of my family & friends have yet to visit California.

For a week long trip, we would definitely do a little coastal drive- staying in Malibu- maybe at the Malibu Inn (one of my favs) with food at Nobu & Malibu Farm.

Next stop up to Santa Barbara to one of my favorite Airbnb’s the glass house. We would ride bikes on the pier and biking paths and definitely stop in Solvang.

Next it’s up to Big Sur staying up on the hill at Hyatt Carmel Highlands. They have real fireplaces in the room with s’more kits! We would explore drive around and catch up with all the beauty!

If you can’t tell, I have really missed traveling!!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have to thank my amazing boyfriend who has always built me up and inspires me daily, my friends who encourage me and my family for being my rock. I truly love you all and thank you for helping me become me the woman I am today.

Who else deserves recognition? I really think every single person I have ever met and shared a passing smile with. I really believe every experience makes us who we are so everyone is part of my story.
