We had the good fortune of connecting with Holly Lindblom and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Holly, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The truth. The facts. The actual history of the properties and houses. The fact that some of the house’s hold secrets. And may or may not be still haunted. The questions. The why? The who? And all the pictures, are all my very own. I have always taken the time to research the places before I go. Then I am really trying to tell the stories, when I publish my photography. The process that goes into every single place I photograph. The time. The effort. The love and dedication. It’s not just a hobby. It’s my passion.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Being born and raised in Los angeles California. I’ve always known about Haunted Hollywood. And the tales of tinsel town. My name is Holly after all. How many people have their names on a hill with 45 foot tall letters. Not only known for the glitz and glamour from the city surrounding it. But also the dark side. Hollywood will and can, spit you out faster than you can order a drink at barney’s beanery. I’ve seen it myself. I drove my grandparents crazy as a teenager always riding the RTD down to west Hollywood and downtown L.A… thats where I stand apart. I’m from here. I was raised here. I don’t know another way. Unless you count those brief times I moved away “to try something different” but I aways came back. Those trips were short lived. And there I was right back home. Right back to photographing my city, I love so very much. And now I recently have been shooting episodes for a podcast called terror salad, About my haunted adventures. And everywhere I’ve been. Hollys Haunts is my brand. My logo. And I’ve stuck with that …

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
You know I can take someone to all my haunts in one day… But, I have shown people places like Hollywood. The Witches house (The spadena house) The Bugsy Siegel murder house. The real nightmare on elm street, The Menendez Brothers house. Cielo drive. David Omans. Supermans house. Laurel canyon
Lookout mountain road. Down to Marilyns grave. Hollywood forever cemetery. A quick bite at Barney’s beanery. The magic castle. The place Janis joplin took her last breathe. The Roosevelt hotel. Formosa cafe. The frolic room for a drink. The walk of fame (Or shame however you see it) The comedy store (ciros, my grandfathers favorite place) Sunset Blvd. The whiskey. The viper room (soon to be gone forever) Yamashiro. And of course last but not least, one of my favorites The Rainbow room to see Lemmys statue… And Yamashiro, which will always be my favorite.

Then of course I’d ask my best friend … If they wanted to go see famous horror movie locations. The Insidious houses. Michael Meyers house. The nightmare on elm street house. Halloween filming locations. We could even venture out to the lost boys cave. And drive up to see the bridge.

There is so much to see! We could do this for days. That’s just a Lil preview.

These pictures are from my haunted road trip up north. Mixed with a couple others. I have so much to share with everyone. Stay tuned. And thank you

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My Cubs, Dylan and Isabella pazos. For putting up with me dragging them to all the locations. And them actually liking it. The fact that their baby books are full of haunted locations. Only as they have gotten older, Do they realize just how many places they have been too. And we aren’t done yet.
