We had the good fortune of connecting with Hollywood Hendersun and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Hollywood, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process was to build a creative brand for black film directors, and actors who want to create amazing visuals with real conceptual content. I also want to help people get their film vision out to the world. There are a lot of stories that people want to tell like me . Whether sci-fi action , drama or romance comedy everyone has an epic tale .

What should our readers know about your business?
My business is Im a Film Director that specializes in creating content in major films. What sets me apart is creativity I feel like Black cinema needs to be at the four front of Hollywood. I’m mostly proud about and excited that the fact I can be a filmmaker and have people relate to deep rooted storytelling. My challenges are being doubted and being overlooked . The lesson I learned was create your own way don’t expect no one to help you in the world of film . People will jump board once you arrive at your promise land that’s when you know who’s real vs who’s fake .

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take my friend to the movie theater for a world premiere movie . It has the best drinks, food and entertainment. Going to a world premiere movie is like going too a concert people screaming and clapping standing ovation’s same as a concert.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The people I want to recognize is of coarse GOD first and for most. My beautiful soulmate who stood tall through it all , my family Tahir and Tahira love you gorgeous . My brother Scoob who always told me I was the star of the family before I realized it…love you bro. My Mom who gave me the drive and told me I can be anything I want to be. My day one’s Dro ,Prophs ,Gabby and Abe also very talented guys as well . The book “Think And Grow Rich” the late great “John Singleton” shout out to my influencers “Spike Lee” and Martin Scorsese.
