Meet Irina Antonenko | Actress, Model and Co-Founder of Lemoorí brand

We had the good fortune of connecting with Irina Antonenko and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Irina, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I have a passion for creating something beautiful, and as a teenager, I even worked as a florist – one of my first jobs! Between my acting and modeling career, I would create bouquets and arrangements for my home and friends. Everyone would ask why I wasn’t turning this talent into a business, creating for others. I thought it was a great idea, but I couldn’t do it alone. One day, I was discussing potential business ideas with my friend Kalina, and she asked, ‘What about flowers?’ I took it as a sign!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My best friend visited me six months ago, and we had a great time in LA. Since LA is so beautiful, with amazing weather and beautiful people, wherever you go, you’ll love it. As a nature lover, we first headed to Temescal Canyon Park, where the view is spectacular. Then, we had lunch at Cafe 27 and literally visited all the famous places in the city. I adore Pacific Palisades, with its charming restaurants, coffee shops, and an overall vibe that’s hard to resist. Next, we explored the Huntington Library & Botanical Gardens, which occasionally hosts interesting events. We ended our day at Nobu Malibu, where we enjoyed the most stunning sunset in the city, accompanied by plenty of sushi – our favorite!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My husband is an extraordinary person who has been a constant source of inspiration and support in my life. He believes in me, encourages me to reach my potential, and is always teaching me new things. What’s more, if there’s something we don’t know or understand, he’s relentless in finding ways to learn more and help us grow together. He’s a true partner and mentor, and I feel grateful to have him by my side.
