We had the good fortune of connecting with Isa Ebrahim and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Isa, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success, as well as the success of my brand, lies in finding happiness and fulfillment in the everyday grind. It’s the realization that true happiness isn’t tied to achieving specific goals or reaching certain milestones. If we constantly tell ourselves that we will be happy only when we achieve “x,” we fall into a trap of never-ending desires and expectations. Instead, I firmly believe that success stems from being genuinely happy and passionate about what I do. It’s about finding joy in the process, embracing the journey, and loving every moment of it. When we truly love what we’re doing, it fuels our motivation, perseverance, and dedication, enabling us to overcome obstacles and push beyond our limits.
Starting off, it’s not necessary to be an expert or the best in the field. What truly matters is having a deep love for what we do and a willingness to show up and put in the effort every day. It’s about cultivating a growth mindset and continuously learning and improving. Success is not an overnight phenomenon but rather a result of consistent dedication and a passion-driven approach.
When we find fulfillment in the everyday grind, success becomes an intrinsic part of our journey. It becomes less about external validation and more about personal satisfaction and the positive impact we make. It’s about making a difference in our own lives and the lives of others, however big or small.
Ultimately, success is a deeply personal and subjective concept. It’s not solely measured by external achievements but by the fulfillment and happiness we derive from our chosen path. By embracing the joy of the process, loving what we do, and showing up with dedication and enthusiasm every day, we are already winning in our pursuit of success.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am an actor and content creator, and what sets me apart is my mindset. From a young age, my mentor shared an invaluable lesson with me: “Why is the lion the king of the jungle? He is not the fastest, strongest, biggest, or smartest, but he believes that he’s the king.” This mindset has been the driving force behind my journey. I believe in my abilities and have the confidence to pursue my dreams relentlessly.

As I reflect on my professional journey, I realize that it has not been an easy path. Like any creative pursuit, there have been challenges along the way. However, I have learned not to dwell on the losses or victories too personally. I understand that setbacks are a natural part of the game and should be viewed as opportunities for growth and improvement. Maintaining a resilient and positive mindset has been crucial in overcoming these obstacles and continuing to progress.

I take immense pride in how far I have come today, but I still believe that there is so much more to achieve and explore. The journey as an actor and content creator is a continuous one, filled with endless possibilities. Each project, each role, offers a chance to learn, evolve, and push my boundaries.

If there is one thing I want the world to know about me and my brand, it is that anything is possible. I want to inspire others to pursue their passions fearlessly and believe in their own capabilities. I want to be a source of encouragement, showing that with the right mindset, dedication, and perseverance, one can overcome challenges and achieve greatness.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my friend were visiting for a week. I’d start off with the basics. I’d take them to Spot dessert bar at St. Marks place for their matcha lava cake. I have been on the hunt to find the best one in the city and that ranks at the top. One week is definitely not enough since there’s obviosuly too much to do here, especially in the summer. I’d take them for a game of Pickel Ball at Central Park one day, and then for a few fitness classes such as Barry’s Bootcamp and Grit Boxing in the mornings. Cafes would be the next plan of action, Manhattan and Brooklyn have the most unique cafe’s. The top 3 cafes on my list are Devocion, Arabica and Little Collins.
I would then do an entire Saturdday in Brooklyn, starting with the weekly summer food fair that is Smorgarsburg, which has all the world’s dishes with their unique blends, like spaghetti donuts, Duck fat fries, Smores ice cream.
And ofcourse my friend who will visit me has to be a foodie (otherwise we wouldn’t be friends). Some restaurants which are a must go are Laut – An amazing thai restarant with the most beautiful lighting. We’d also do a basic, hole in the wall – 7th Street Burger, because that’s my favourite. burger spot in town. And finally gotta go to A pasta bar for a taste of authentic Italian food.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my elder brother. He has been my biggest inspiration throughout my journey in life. From our adventures traveling the world together to his profound influence on shaping my character, he truly deserves recognition and credit in my story.

One of the most impactful lessons my brother taught me was how to handle loss and stay humble when life is good. As we traveled and played tennis on the tour, we encountered numerous challenges and faced defeats. However, my brother’s resilience and unwavering determination in the face of adversity served as a constant source of inspiration for me. He taught me that setbacks are not the end of the road but opportunities for growth and self-improvement.

Moreover, my brother’s ability to maintain humility during times of success has left an indelible mark on me. Despite achieving great heights academically and professionally, including graduating from Columbia University and venturing into entrepreneurship with a sports-tech app, he remains grounded and down-to-earth. He reminds me that success is not measured solely by accomplishments, but by how we treat others and stay true to ourselves.
