We had the good fortune of connecting with Isidora Razazi and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Isidora, looking back, what do you think was the most difficult decision you’ve had to make?
I think leaving my home country to move to the United States to pursue my career as an actress. It was a choice that came with a lot of heartache because it meant being away from my family and friends—missing important moments, celebrations, and just the comfort of being close to the people who’ve always supported me. There was a lot of guilt, fear, and uncertainty about whether I was making the right decision.

But even though it was hard, I know now that it was the right decision for me. Being here has given me opportunities to learn, grow, and chase my dreams in ways I never imagined. I’m still at the beginning of this journey, and it’s not always easy, but every challenge has taught me something valuable. Even in the toughest moments, I remind myself that the sacrifices are leading me toward something bigger.

It’s definitely been a journey of both struggle and reward. I’m grateful for every step, and I’m excited for where this path is taking me.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m incredibly excited to be at the beginning of this journey. Every day feels like a new opportunity to grow, to learn, and to push myself further as an artist. What excites me most is that I’m still in a phase of discovery—there’s so much room for improvement, and I love that. The process of evolving and finding my voice as an actress is something I truly cherish.

My mom is an artist, and my dad is an engineer, so I’ve always had this unique balance in my life between creativity and structure. Watching my mom approach art with such passion and freedom, and my dad with his methodical, problem-solving mindset, gave me a broad perspective on how to approach life and my work. It taught me that you can have both creativity and discipline, and that’s something I carry with me every day in my career.

Getting to where I am today has certainly been a journey. Like any path worth taking, it hasn’t been easy, but every challenge along the way has shaped who I am now. I’ve faced rejection, self-doubt, and the pressure of starting in a competitive industry. But I’ve learned to embrace those challenges, seeing them as part of the process rather than setbacks. It’s about resilience, staying focused on the bigger picture, and knowing that the journey is just as important as the destination.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Even though I’m still pretty new to the area myself, I’d be so excited to show them around! I’ve already discovered a few spots that I love, and I’m always up for exploring more.

We’d definitely start with a hike—there’s nothing like the views from the top of the mountains here. I’d take them to Runyon Canyon for a sunrise hike, so we could enjoy the skyline and the peace of being surrounded by nature while still being so close to the city. It’s one of those places where you can recharge and take in the beauty of LA.

After that, we’d grab breakfast at a local spot—maybe something in West Hollywood. Then, I’d take them to explore some of the neighborhoods. Venice Beach would definitely be on the list for its laid-back vibe. I love the boardwalk and how creative the area feels, with all the street art and the beach culture. We’d also check out Santa Monica Pier, because it’s classic LA.

Los Angeles is such an exciting city, and there’s so much to see and do. I’m still discovering new places every day, but it’s definitely a city that offers something for everyone.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to give a shoutout to everyone who has shaped me along the way, in both positive and challenging ways. I believe that everything that’s happened in my life—good or bad—has led me to where I am today. It’s all been part of the journey. I’m so grateful for my family, who have always supported me unconditionally. Their love and belief in me have kept me grounded and motivated, no matter how tough things got.

I also want to give a special shoutout to my friends, who have always seen something in me—whether it was my sense of humor, my passion, or my talent—and reminded me of it when I doubted myself. They’ve been there to lift me up and keep me going.

And of course, my dog deserves a shoutout as well! She’s been my little adventure partner throughout this entire move. I may have pushed her to make the leap from Chile to the U.S., but she’s been so loyal and brave, sticking by my side through all of it. I couldn’t have asked for a better companion in this new chapter of my life.
