When I was on the road towards working on my Olympic gymnastics dream, I was faced with one of the most important obstacles in my life. I was competing in a national competition and getting ready to do my vault. I had my coach set the board and I waved my hand to salute to the judge. I ran down the runway to perform my skill and as soon as I was flipping through the air, I knew something wasn’t right. Mid-air, I was just thinking of how I was going to try and land on my feet after not getting as much height as I usually get. I landed very low on my landing and shattered seven bones in my ankle as well as tearing several ligaments. This was the first time that I felt the feeling of hopelessness. I am so used to telling myself to get up and just shake it off, but this time was different. I could not stand up and physically needed to rely on the help of others to get up. It was my first ever injury and also my worst injury I’ve had ever.

I decided to turn this negative experience into a positive moment. I had always known that I had wanted to pursue acting, modeling, and social media after my gymnastics career but I was so focused on gymnastics and it was my life. At the moment of my injury, I was faced with the decision to either get surgery or take this as a sign from God telling me to move to LA and pursue my other dreams. I firmly believe that if I had not gotten injured that I would still be in my comfort zone of competing as a gymnast and would still be in Michigan. This is why I say that this injury was the worst and best moment of my life. It truly made me stronger and made me who I am today. I truly try to tell everyone that even your worst moments don’t have to be the worst. It is all how you look at things and realize that maybe it’s the universe pushing you in the right direction that may seem out of your comfort zone, but it is necessary to grow. I don’t regret getting injured. I am actually grateful for it, and it has allowed me to pursue many of my dreams. It has shown me that I can overcome anything.

I want to spread the message of positivity and that chasing your dreams is something that everyone should do. Nothing is impossible and never give up. Especially I feel that my story of how I have become the person I am today really shows that even when life gets tough, keep pushing through and everything will work out.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?

I specialize in content creation, acting, and modeling. The entertainment industry is my life. Creating content across multiple social media platforms with the overall objective of making my fans and viewers smile everyday is why I do what I do. I want to spread the message of positivity and that chasing your dreams is something that everyone should do. Nothing is impossible and never give up. Especially I feel that my story of how I have become the person I am today really shows that even when life gets tough, keep pushing through and everything will work out.

What sets my content apart is not only my physical gymnastics ability but my overall energy you feel just from watching my videos. I believe that by taking trends and adding my own twist to them is what helps make content go viral. Everyone has a unique talent, quality, or characteristic that can be used to help set your content/craft apart from the rest. I really just want everyone to chase their dreams and I want to be living proof for anyone out there that needs that extra push to chase their dreams. Anything is possible and if you put you mind to it you can achieve it.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them to all the “touristy” attractions LA has to offer. When i first moved to LA or even thought of going to LA, I definitely had this visual of all the iconic pieces of LA from the Santa Monica Pier, to Hollywood Walk of Fame, to the Mansions in Beverly Hills, to even the Mountains in the distance. I would make a list of everything and we would try to check off every single attractions and sight see all that LA has to offer. I know that one can truly not see all that LA has to offer in one week but that is why i will make sure my friends come back or stay even longer for more fun:)

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to dedicate this shoutout to everyone in my life that has always supported me through everything. I can most definitely say my biggest supporters are my family. They are always there when i need them and have always supported me in every decision I have made in my life whether they are hesitant about it or not. Having their trust truly means the world and I truly believe they have helped me get to where I am in my career today because they not only taught me to go for your dreams, but to cherish every moment as well.
