We had the good fortune of connecting with Jackon Gong and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jackon, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
Office jobs seemed boring to me, and I’ve always been a person who likes to challange the norm. So it made sense for me to choose a very expressive industry to work in.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Jarnix Prouction specializes in commercial photography & video production, especially in the food genre. We’ve grown a huge passion for cullinary arts and we are very proud to use our skills to tell beautiful stories with food. One thing that we learned in our journey is to always work on your craft – it’s the only way to gain access to higher end clients and to reach those bigger jobs.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Elysian Park – it’s a very beautiful walk that overlooks the city, and it’s rarely crowded. Grand Central Market is pretty nice, and the Last Bookstore is a very interesting point of interest. Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My business partner Will – He’s always kept a positive energy and we work well together. I’m more on the technical side of things, and he balances it out by being more of a people preson. I’m very grateful to have met him, and to have gained a life long friend.
