We had the good fortune of connecting with Jada Avezzu Morandi and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jada, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I think taking risks is probably one of the most important factors when pursuing any goal, especially if you are young. It is when you are young that you are supposed to take risks because you have a lot of time to make up for any loss regardless and if it isn’t a loss then you can gladly take your win. As for me, I definitely took risks and a lot of them turned out to be good and others not so good, nevertheless, I learned a whole lot from every risk I took.
For example moving across the world to the United States from little Switzerland was probably the biggest but most rewarding risk I’ve ever taken.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I think what I’m most proud of is myself. In my time here in Atlanta, I’ve seen some really great sides of the music industry but also some of the dark sides of industry but regardless of that I’m very proud that I am able to say that I’ve always kept my integrity and morals intact and always acted with my heart and with kindness. I won’t say I never made mistakes because I did, but I genuinely always acted from the goodness of my heart and that is why I will never regret my time here. Would I stay in Atlanta though? Definitely not. And that’s why I’m so excited to be able to say that I will be moving to Los Angeles soon and will be forwarding my career there.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would definitely visit the Beltline in Atlanta and I might also visit this great sport for food called Kimchi Red.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There is one person who has supported me from day one and that is my mother. She has always encouraged me to do what I love, she taught me the value of hard work, money and kindness and the morals that one should always have in life, especially when it is difficult to remind yourself to have them when things get tough. As for mentorship, I would say I am very very grateful to my team in London. I will not disclose names for privacy purposes but without them, I would have never been able to come all this way and believe in myself the way I do
