Hi Jamal, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I was tired of doing the same things. I wanted something timeless, versatile, and original. Aside of that, Worth the Weight isn’t just a brand name with a distinct logo, it has a deeper meaning that pretty much everyone could relate to and that’s the bigger picture.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
So far I’m proud of my consistency and hard work Ive put into Worth the Weight, it definitely has paid off. I’m excited for the new things we have in store. I got to where I am today basically from my supporters, they see my vision and the brand speaks for itself. Nothing is easy but I’m blessed to have a good outcome in such short amount of time. The biggest lesson I’ve learned is to have patience.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Im From All Over LA so I know All the Best spots in the city. Its endless things to do in LA From Great restaurants like Hot Wing Cafe on Melrose, Berris on 3rd, Wi Jammin Cafe on Pico & so much more. Great Drinks from Places like El Cholo & Fixins in Downtown. Good Views from Rooftop to Beach front places and even Strip Clubs if you like that type of stuff.. Just literally all sorts of dope places you can go to while in LA especially if you with a person like myself.
