Meet Jasmine Elizalde

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jasmine Elizalde and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jasmine, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
“I don’t chase, I attract. What belongs to me will find me.” — Unknown
What I love about this affirmation is that it changed the focus from desperation to trust and alignment. It speaks to confidence by acknowledging that I don’t need to chase opportunities or validation, because what is meant for me will naturally come my way. It reminds me to focus on becoming the best version of myself, and to have faith that my hard work, authenticity, and inner strength will draw the right people, opportunities, and success into my life.
It’s a mindset of abundance, rather than scarcity. It’s not about proving myself to others but it’s about being confident in my worth and trusting that I’m on the right path.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I initially planned on becoming a veterinarian because of my love for animals, but as I explored that path, I realized my true passion was in law. At first, it was a big shift, and there were moments of doubt, but the more I learned about law, the more I knew it was the right fit for me. The challenges along the way taught me that it’s okay to change direction, and that passion often leads to unexpected places. I overcame the difficulties by staying focused on my goals, being open to new experiences, and leaning on my support system. I’ve learned that growth doesn’t happen overnight, but with dedication and persistence, you find where you truly belong. My journey is proof that sometimes the path isn’t straight, but that doesn’t mean you won’t end up exactly where you’re meant to be.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Being from the Bay Area, I’m lucky to have a wide variety of food and activities to choose from. To start, I’d grab some Mexican food from Tacos De Sinaloa in Oakland, which is a local favorites for delicious, authentic tacos. For an activity, I’d check out Top Golf, which has not only a fun golfing experience but also a great menu of finger foods, meals, and drinks for adults. I haven’t gone in a while but to wrap up the night, I’d head to Emporium in San Francisco or Oakland which is a club known for its arcade games and great cocktails. The Bay Area is known for its stunning views, diverse food scene, and enjoyable nightlife, so it’s never hard to find something exciting to do and places to explore.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate this shoutout to my family and friends, who have been my unwavering support system through everything. Their love, encouragement, and presence have kept me grounded during challenging times, reminding me that no matter how tough things get, I am not alone. From simple words of encouragement to sharing laughs during the toughest moments, they are a reminder that connection and love are at the heart of everything.
And to my father, who has shaped so much of who I am today. Since his passing, I’ve been learning to navigate life without him, and though it’s been one of the hardest things I’ve faced, it’s also a journey of growth and reflection.Every day, I find myself pushing forward with the resilience he taught me. Even though he’s no longer here in person, I know he is with me spiritually, guiding me through each step.
