Meet Javarus Mcconner | Player management & “dot connector”

We had the good fortune of connecting with Javarus Mcconner and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Javarus, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
It’s a tough call. Consider weighing the importance of your goal, your passion for it, and the potential for growth. Sometimes a fresh perspective can help clarify things. But in my case,Choosing to keep going often means staying committed to your goal, facing challenges head-on, and adapting as needed. It involves resilience, learning from setbacks, and celebrating small victories along the way. and understand to fall in love with the process because the only way you can go is up !

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Being a former athlete and having also the sports and entertainment, mindset set me a part, because I have a better understanding when it comes to the players and what goes into the profession, but also the business side of it as well! And I always like to say nothing worth having comes easy, so I just stay diligent, and kept networking and understanding the business, and I overcame challenges just by simply working hard and doing things that set me apart and not getting complacent. And I want people to know that this business isn’t cut out for everyone but if it’s cut out for you, surely you will notice I understand and the right people gravitate to you and you also would gravitate to the right people.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well, obviously obviously in LA people want to go to a sporting event so I would probably recommend you know going to a game Lakers or Rams also take them to some well-known restaurants that are staples in LA far as Roscoes tao toca Madera. Of course go through Hollywood Boulevard and see the Hollywood sign. Take them to the mall and it’s a pretty cool Basquiat museum I would go to as well.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would have to say Chris Ellison (nfl agent also a attorney) keyshawn johnson ( former nfl player and Commentator for first take show) And Jerome Stanley (the first black agent to have a number 1 nfl pick)
