Hi Jay, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
Long Beach, CA It plays a big part in the music i make because thats all i grew up around . All you heard banging down the block was the eastsidaz nate dogg warren g etc ,

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I created a new genre called G$OUL Its a mix of gfunk and neo soul.
Im exited to drop and flood the platforms and really set the tone with a new wave . It wasnt always easy but i feel like no challenge is too hard, i just kept working and working on it until i perfected it. Ive learned alot whether it be beat mixing sound selections instrumentation ive been fine tuning my craft.
I want the world to know who started gsoul , and i want to inspire people to start something if their own

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Theres a douglas burger right down the street from my granny house thats firreree ! Or we could hit the beach or the pike, or hit the park and feed some ducks lol .
