We had the good fortune of connecting with Jennifer (Jenn) Wolff and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jennifer (Jenn), what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My ambition and drive to create something of my own propelled me to start my own business. I’m not one for taking orders and being micromanaged, so the idea of having my own business was a no-brainer for me. I’m an artist at heart and I wanted to be able to create and express myself in ways that suited me best. I was determined to prove that I could make it on my own and I’m so grateful that I was brave enough to follow my own path. It has led me to a place of immense joy and fulfillment.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Taking risks is part of who I am. I have encountered plenty of failures in my life, but I have also experienced immense success. It is easy to be hesitant and stay on the safe path, however, I find that the best opportunities arise when you are willing to take a risk. Stepping into the unknown can be exhilarating and, if done correctly, can open up new possibilities that can truly shape your future. This is something I have come to realize and embrace.

For the past two decades, I have been blessed to experience the salon and suite life. I found a lot of joy in both, and I wanted to create a harmonious environment that blended the two together. As a result, I have dedicated myself to creating a world where you can enjoy the best of both salon and suite life. I look forward to continuing to create a unique and enjoyable hybrid world where likeminded artists can collaborate all while still having that one on one time your client.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I chose the location for Seasoned Beauty Lounge due to its central location in Sherman Oaks. There are many delicious food options within walking distance, such as Blue Dog Tavern, Mrs. Chips Cookies, and Katsuya, etc. Additionally, the great bars and shopping, located on Ventura Boulevard offer endless possibilities. This central location offers convenience and access to the many amenities the area has to offer.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Climbing the ladder of success can be a daunting task, yet I have been fortunate enough to have a strong support system to accompany me on the journey. I am deeply appreciative of the people in my life who have continually been a source of motivation and reassurance along the way. From my family who have been my rock, to my friends, caring colleagues, & most importantly, my loyal clients, I am thankful for them all! With their help and guidance, I have been able to make steady progress towards my goals
