We had the good fortune of connecting with Jeron Jackson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jeron, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I believe to start a business you gotta have a plan and in order to have a plan you have to have a Passion and through my process I fell in love with my Passion and then did my homework on that Passion to manifest the career of my business which is Barbering .

Anyone can Start a Business , however there was this thing called MindMapping that I learned while on Barber school , that helped me envison my Goal and Transcend the craft and the technical skill into a lucrative business that it is today

What should our readers know about your business?
I’m a Barber now of 9 years and and a Barber instructor now of 2 years 2 years in the City of Los Angeles As well as a mentor in the city of Hawthorne at the Hawthorne memorial park and recreation. I feel what sets me apart in my field, is the time that I take it understanding the overall experience I want to project on my clientele. My own mindset is its not just about a nice haircut only but overall mentor-ship, Counseling, and giving back It is literally a cultural thing for me this is just not a business it’s a Lifestyle.

Some of the lessons I’ve learned along the way Not to give up you’re gonna get tripped up than anything you do it’s all about the moment you stand up dust yourself off take a good look at the road ahead and take the next step forward.
Sometimes we set up our own barriersAnd have to mentally break down the wall within ourselves to build ourselves backup to the masterpieces that we are today.

But I would like the world to know about my brand and my story is anybody can be successful the limitations are what you make your limit . All it takes is for you to love literally, literally love what you do and love the ability to put a smile on somebody’s face through that skill or craft or job/ business and execute that everyday with excellence ! And that’s when it doesn’t become a story anymore, You transcend a brand..

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My best friend was visiting I would take them to Roscoe’s chicken and waffles city in Inglewood And take them to Hollywood boulevard see the Avenue of the stars Walk and walk the strip.

We would hit up universal studio city walk.
We would do Sharky’s is for lunch in Manhattan Beach, I finished up with a nice dinner at Burton G’s over on Melrose.

Of course we’ve got to top it off before he takes off with A tour of My Suite and a fresh cut!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I wanna shoutout out my church West Angeles Church of God and Christ and Borners Barber College of Los Angeles, CA.

Both places were big influence and assist my overall development in my goals and Business as well as Spiritual and transitional keys in the community that Inspire me also to get back And strive to be a pillar in the community myself
