Meet Jessica Marquez Cable | Wellbeing Coach + Writer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jessica Marquez Cable and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jessica, what are you inspired by?
What inspires me most is authentic self-expression. To me, it’s love at its purest, highest vibration. It doesn’t compare, it doesn’t shrink—it just is. And that kind of presence can shift a room, a community, even the world. When someone shows up fully as themselves, sharing their gifts and their voice, it invites others in. It creates connection, belonging, and the conditions for deep healing.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I created Marble Mujer as a place for women to come home to themselves—a space to breathe, to reclaim identity, and to live in ways that feel aligned and deeply nourishing.
From a young age, I’ve felt called to hold space for people—to be a mirror reflecting their brilliance back to them. First as a junior cheerleader, then as a teen dance teacher, later as a yoga and meditation teacher, and always as a storyweaver, I’ve found different ways to hold that mirror. Eventually, these threads came together through wellness coaching, born from my own need to be still, to return to my center, and to remember my light in the midst of motherhood and modern life.
That’s why I coach today: because I know what it feels like to lose yourself in the noise—and what it takes to find yourself again.
My work blends decades of healing, wellness, and lifestyle practices, but at its heart it’s simple: healing doesn’t come from fixing yourself, but from understanding yourself. That shift—from fixing to understanding—is what allows us to return to our wholeness, soften into our worth, and build the capacity to hold more: more love, more expansion, more abundance, and more of the beauty we’re here to create in the world.
The path hasn’t always been easy. I’ve had to consciously break patterns and choose different ways to work, parent, and live—to align with my truth. And I still do. Yet what I once saw as flaws have revealed themselves as strengths: my sensitivity, my softness, and my ability to sit with the tender parts of life.
What I’m most proud of is living this work, not just teaching it. I don’t believe in quick fixes or one-size-fits-all solutions. Life is messy, beautiful, uncertain, and full of moments of clarity—and I’m here for all of it. I hope that by showing up fully, my work can be a mirror for women, reminding them that wholeness isn’t about perfection. It’s about embracing every part of yourself and choosing to live in a way that feels truly, deeply you.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’ve lived in California my whole life, and it’s my favorite place to be—for its diversity, weather, culture, art, people, and the vibrancy of my Latine heritage and food. If my best friend were visiting, we’d spend time on the beach, under the warm sun, connecting with the Native land and its history; time in LA, immersed in its cultural diversity, music, art, and food; and time in the desert, for stillness and deep restoration. Our week would be filled with nourishing meals, soulful talks, and moments fully immersed in the beauty of this magical place I’m grateful to call home.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
This journey has never been mine alone. I’m here because of the love, support, and belief of my family, teachers, ancestors, and community—especially those who saw potential in me when I couldn’t see it myself.
