We had the good fortune of connecting with Jessika Harrison and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jessika, how do you think about risk?
When it comes to risk taking, everyone has their own perspective. For me, risk taking has been a crucial part of my life and career. I believe that life is all about calculated risks and that if you don’t try something new and take certain risks then you can’t truly experience the full potential life has to offer.

Growing up, I was never afraid to try something new or to challenge myself and my comfort zone. I was willing to take risks and challenge myself in order to learn more and grow as a person. I took risks in education, with career opportunities and in my social life. This has allowed me to gain invaluable experience, knowledge and skills along the way.

In my career, taking risks has been just as important. Risk taking has allowed me to pursue new opportunities and take on challenging roles and projects. It’s also helped me develop more innovative and creative ideas that wouldn’t have been possible without taking risks. As a result, I’ve been able to have a successful and fulfilling career.

However, taking risks isn’t all about jumping head first into a new challenge. Taking risks also involves considering all the possible scenarios and outcomes before embarking on something new. This means researching, preparing and getting advice from professionals to ensure that the risk is worth taking and that the possibility of success is high.

At the end of the day, taking risks is an intrinsic part of life. It’s also an essential part of our careers, as it opens up opportunities for growth and development, as well as success. It’s important to remember that not all risks lead to success, so it’s important to be mindful of the potential consequences before deciding to take on a new challenge. But if you are willing to take risks and face your fears then you can gain invaluable insight that will help you grow in life and in your career.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I’ve always wanted to be of service. So my business is really rooted from helping make a difference. It’s my souls mission to help others to heal from past traumas and rediscover their true potential— unbecoming everything that isn’t you. It brings me so much joy seeing how many people I’ve helped since I started my Reiki practice in 2020. The year when everyone really needed healing.

My business journey hasn’t been the easiest, but it’s been the most rewarding. When I started out, I had no idea where it would take me but I quickly realized that all the things I’ve overcome in life are lessons I needed to teach others as well. I wanted to help others heal and embrace their authenticity.

I had no experience and little capital, so I had to work with what I had. I read as much as I could and talked to people who were already in the industry to gain more knowledge and insight. I also reached out to mentors who had been in the same situation I was in, and they helped propel me forward.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that it pays to be persistent and you have to love what you do. It won’t always be easy, and setbacks are inevitable, but if you don’t give up, eventually you’ll achieve your goals. I’ve also learned to listen to feedback and take constructive criticism to heart.

I’m living proof that anything is possible with hard work, dedication and continuous effort. You have to be willing to take risks and face your fears, but the rewards of success are worth it. My message is that the sky is the limit, and you can make your dreams come true if you stay focused and never give up.

It’s been an incredible journey for me so far, and I’m looking forward to seeing where this journey takes me. Whatever your goals may be, never stop pushing yourself to be the best you can be. As long as you remain true to yourself and know why you even started in the first place, you can accomplish anything. That’s what my story has taught me, and I want to share it with the world!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I was 21 years old when my best friend Vivian Phan @vivphan owner of @dollhouseseattle she told me about this book named The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. This book did not just helped me changed my life but it helped me unlocked and find how truly magical life is.
