We had the good fortune of connecting with Jillian Bobinski and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jillian, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
It sounds kind of cheesy, but I first found my love for event planning as a Freshman in High School in New York. The class president, also a close friend of mine made me responsible for the coordination and planning of all our events, which I ended up doing Sophomore, Junior, AND Senior year! I’m a bit of a neat freak and always plan things in advance, so I knew this was perfect for me. From there, I interned at different venues while earning my bachelor’s degree at East Carolina University (Go Pirates!). Shortly after, I made the courageous yet common leap from New York to Los Angeles to continue establishing myself in the event planning world. Pretty crazy to think I have now planned events in New York, North Carolina, Atlanta, and California. While I’ve always loved event planning and wanted to start my own business one day, I never thought in a million years that it would happen!
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
There are so many amazing things to do in LA! I am a foodie, so that’s number 1 on the list. I love Grand Central Market, they have so many different food options from all around the world. (You have to check out the Chinese stand). My two favorite Sushi restaurants in LA are Hama Sushi & Sushi Fumi. For a good cocktail, I love Mama Shelter, they not only have amazing drinks but a 360-degree view of Los Angeles. Other fun places to visit are Malibu Cafe (Fun day drinking spot), Santa Monica Pier, Griffith Observatory, and much more! Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would have to say my significant other, family, and friends deserve a huge shoutout! I have been very fortunate to have been surrounded by some pretty amazing people, specifically, my father, who has been an entrepreneur for the past 35 years. I couldn’t have started my own business without an amazing support system.
