We had the good fortune of connecting with Jim Francis Meza and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jim Francis, how do you think about risk?
Well, this is an interesting question. I totally & wholeheartedly believe in risk taking. I have taken leaps of faith in just about every endeavor I have set out to do. As a matter of fact, Life requires us to take risks every step of the way. By stepping out each morning into the unknown, we are placing ourselves in God’s hands.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I have written essentially a tell all book of sorts surrounding my limousine adventures and rendezvous. It chronicles a day to day with some of the world’s most celebrated artists and public figures alike. The title I find so fitting, named after the late Elizabeth Taylor, “Juicy Divas, confessions of a Limo Driver” is a lighthearted account so masterfully put together by yours truly and Seth Goldstein. The adventures are one of a kind and uniquely written with the pure and sole intent to entertain. It is fair to say that it isn’t for the faint of heart and it boasts of some pretty crazy stories. We are currently working on Volume 3 which will probably materialize in the coming year. I have been around some pretty interesting folks throughout my 25 years in the business. The books stories and escapades barely scratch the surface. If only the cars could talk, right! I’ll leave something to the imagination. Anyway, I have learned a thing or two from many exchanges and fascinating conversations. I believe everyone ought to write a book!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I think I would go to the sprawling beaches to bask in the sun and beautiful weather socal has to offer. The Hollywood sign. Is a must and the Griffith Park trails and show them The Bat Cave. I would Definitely take em to Eat at Mel’s Diner. We would go to the queen Mary in Long Beach. Perhaps, head over to Amoeba Record store to sift through their vinyl collections. Lastly, just soak up the sun from the peak of Muholland overlooking The San Fernando Valley.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have to reiterate the undying support I have garnered from my Parents, God and my team, without such a juggernaut of a force behind me, I wouldnt dare attempt any creative journey. I am eternally grateful and frankly unworthy of such an awesome group of like minded individuals. like to thank my partners in crime my son James Matthew, My Love Stefani and confidant Seth Goldstein. In addition, my profucer Sanjini Bahkta and last but not least my business partner James Welsh have been instrumental in getting the needle moving.
