Meet Jimmy Tram Clarence Yeung | Realtors & Co-Branch Managers

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jimmy Tram Clarence Yeung and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jimmy Tram, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
We started our own business with the goal to have an opportunity to make a comfortable living while having the ability to control our own time. As we grew older, our priorities shifted from making money to spending more time with our families.
Jimmy and Clarence have known each other for over 20 years. We went to high school together and played on the same basketball team. The teamwork and friendship has always been there. We were able to transfer that teamwork into our business. We quickly realized that our business model and resources could be shared with other agents. Towards the end of 2022, we decided to make that leap. Along with a few other Realtors ®, we were able to acquire a space in February 2023 in the city of Alhambra.
Not only did we grow up in the neighboring cities of Alhambra, CA, we are raising our families here. To open our business and service the community of Alhambra just seemed right.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
SoCal Group brokered by eXp Realty is built around an agent-centric business model. Our organization is owned and ran by our agents. Having this type of business model helps encourage and foster a collaborative environment throughout our organization. We leverage eXp Realty’s multi-level marketing structure to create a win-win business relationship amongst our agents. Every agent in that office is connected through our revenue share program. When an agent in our office makes a sale, 6 other agents connected through the revenue share program also gets paid.
Our agents are able to leverage all of our resources for free which brings opportunities to expand their own production team. They can recruit or hire agents and leverage the available resources to scale their business. This will also allow them to scale quickly by utilizing an existing business model and resources while growing their residual income though the Revenue Share program.
We make a commitment to each of our agents on our team by mentoring them not only to be a top producing agent but also a successful business owner. Having a business owner’s mindset is important because that encourages our agents to look at the bigger picture which ultimately helps the overall organization grow. Creating that win-win environment for all.
