Meet Joezart

We had the good fortune of connecting with Joezart and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Joezart, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
How much time, energy, & emotion it takes out of a person to voice their traumas and revisit triggering events of their personal lives. As a music artist we tend to neglect our own feelings by constantly trying to cater to the views of outside voices aka the audience, and a lot of times we bottle up our thoughts until they eventually unravel in our music.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
One thing about my music that I feel sets me apart is my versatility! I can sing & rap so the potential for me on songs is a forever expanding process based on the production I’m using at the time. On top of writing my own music I also record & engineer all ny songs as well. I had to do a lot of networking and putting money in the wrong places to know where the right places really were. Nothing in life that’s great will come easy and the best way to push forward is to never lose sight of the reason why you started doing whatever it is you’re doing. The only advice I can give to people is to keep pushing and financing your dream, your network is your net worth. One day I want people to remember me as the artist that always told them the truth even when it’s hard to hear !

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
A good vacay week would probably be:
Smoothies then a trip to the beach followed by a hike to a nice view somewhere in the hills, then after grab food somewhere downtown and explore the city for gifts & clothing. In the evening you could start off with a movie then grab food somewhere amazing & after that we would go outside to a good bar or club and party until the sun came up ! Trying that at new places everyday sounds like a great vacation to me

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First I have to thank God! Then I have to give a big thanks to all of the people apart of “The Space Crew” because they have been the driving force behind the steps I take forward as an artist and as a human being. When I first founded the “The Space Crew” the goal was to build a team of creatives that all had one end goal, Freedom.
