We had the good fortune of connecting with Johnny Miller Manager for the band Circle the Earth and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Johnny, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
(Michael McBay Founder and Bass Player) Truly having a great group of musicians around me who are not only amazing at their craft but we are like a family behind the scenes as well, also our team from our management, social media, distribution, and consulting teams. We have been very fortunate to work with top producers and musically and visually to be able to put out great music and videos.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Circle the Earth encompasses a style like no other artists before, spreading the message of unity, hope and harmony, with a feel good sound sure to please the ears of many generations to come. The band is as diverse as the city it hails from, All ethnicities and genders are represented, and each member is from a different cultural background a different place on this big ole ball of dirt we call Earth. Hence the name.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well LA definitely has a wide array of places to see and things to do. The beaches are always a great place to start, Santa Monica Pier, The Getty Museum, Griffith Observatory, of course the nightlife has slowed down a bit since Covid but if your looking for great eats, LA sure has its fair share of cultural culinary food. Also would bring you all by a Circle the Earth rehearsal. (Wink Wink) The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Michael McBay (Bass Player)
I have been blessed to work with such talented musicians my entire life but none as much as the musicians of Circle the Earth. I would like to thank some of my mentors in assisting me on such a spiritual journey such as John Rogers.
I would like to thank the team behind Circle the Earth from our investors, management, to the marketing people, consultants, social media and everyone who works hard behind the scenes to make our dreams come true.
