We had the good fortune of connecting with Jordan Avila and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jordan, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
Because it’s fun and our calling.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I make contemporary art paintings and make music with our band Wam Dingis

What sets us apart is our high energy music and my Impressionist paintings

I got where I am today by positivity and keeping the vision

It was easy

I move learned along the way that everything works out for us all the time and that we need to focus on the good and what we are thankful for and do what brings you joy and follow your inspiration

I want to the world to know about our band Wam Dingis being amazing music and shows and merch

And my art in paintings and many other expressions, ink, photo, video

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take people to thirsty crow bar and Silverlake ramen right next door best food and drinks

And I would take them to Gagosian Gallery

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Darren Cochran, Angela Vasquez, Liz Chun, Mindy Dymin, Adam Kenworthy, Zeke Gamill, June Boone, Cindy Avila, Lauren Avila
