Meet Jordan Burningham | CEO of Diamond Detox

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jordan Burningham and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jordan, how does your business help the community?
In a nut shell,Diamond detox helps people, save lives, and makes the community and the world safer for our families.
At Diamond Detox, our mission is to create a lasting positive impact on individuals, families, and the community as a whole. First and foremost, we provide a safe and medically supervised environment for people struggling with substance dependency, helping them take the first crucial step toward recovery.
Beyond individual care, we contribute to public health by reducing the risks associated with addiction, such as overdose, disease transmission, and mental health crises. By helping people get clean, we also support crime reduction efforts, as addiction often leads to criminal activity. Additionally, we ease the burden on hospitals, emergency services, and law enforcement by offering specialized care that prevents repeat crises.
Addiction doesn’t just affect the individual—it impacts loved ones as well. By guiding individuals toward long-term recovery, we help repair relationships and strengthen family structures. We also collaborate with local organizations to provide resources for mental health support, job training, and housing assistance, helping people reintegrate into society successfully.
On a broader scale, our advocacy and educational programs raise awareness about substance abuse, helping prevent future cases and shifting societal perspectives on addiction from stigma to support. Ultimately, our goal is to create healthier, safer communities by giving people the tools they need to reclaim their lives.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My background and life experiences shaped the creative in me. I’ve always looked at the world through a problem-solving lens, and over time, I started noticing gaps—areas where something was missing, where things could be done better. That realization sparked a passion in me, not just to recognize the gaps but to create solutions for them.
That’s what ultimately led me to start my own business. It wasn’t just about following a career path—it was about building something meaningful, something that fulfilled a real need. The creative side of me comes alive when I’m solving problems, thinking outside the box, and bringing new ideas to life.
Looking back, I can see how my experiences shaped this drive. Every challenge, every lesson, every opportunity to innovate played a role in pushing me toward a career where I could create, build, and make an impact. That passion is what continues to fuel me today.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting for a week, I’d make sure they experienced some of the best spots in the area. First, we’d hit the golf course at Valley View in East Layton—there’s nothing like a great round of golf with stunning mountain views. Another must-visit is Antelope Island, where we could take in the wildlife, go for a scenic drive, or just enjoy the peaceful surroundings. And, of course, we’d have to explore one of the incredible waterfall hikes in the area—there’s something about hiking up to a waterfall that makes for the perfect adventure. Between great food, good company, and these amazing outdoor spots, it’d be a week to remember!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My shoutout goes first and foremost to my wife and family. Their unwavering love, support, and encouragement have been the foundation of everything I do. Through every challenge and every success, they’ve been my greatest source of strength and inspiration. I wouldn’t be where I am today without them, and for that, I’m forever grateful.
