We had the good fortune of connecting with Jose Ariel Diaz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jose Ariel, any advice for those thinking about whether to keep going or to give up?
You ALWAYS keep going. Never give up. The harder it is the more appreciative you will be when you accomplish your goals. Every day is a learning experience. Life isn’t meant to be easy! And always remember, the nicer you are, the harder it is, and that’s ok. I accept all challenges life throws at me!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My goal is to bring out the creativity in everyone and to OPEN everyone’s minds to the possibility & potential of everything and anything they have to offer! As a runway coach and apparently a lifestyle coach as well. My goal is to help everyone accept their reality of everything but also challenge themselves to take it to the NEXT LEVEL! also to remember it’s ok to disconnect a bit. To revamp, to rethink & come back stronger and more creative!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If they were visiting the area? Hmmmm. I’d definitely take them to, downtown providence. So much to look forward to! Another area is Federal Hill which is a strip full of restaurants, bars, and the list goes on! A few more areas to throw out there are Thayer st, always gotta stop for some Antonio’s pizza, of course I love my Latin roots, so maybe a club around Broad st LOL!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to dedicate my shout out to my iconic official photographer @MDURANSTUDIO Not only does he bring out THE BEST in anyone and everyone he works with, but gives the best life advice. It’s like therapy sessions while SLAYING THE SH*T OUT OF YOUR LOOK! I have literally the most iconic shoots with this talented human. Let’s not forget he yells at me if we don’t do the annual BDAY shoots! Talk about being reminded how old I am! LOL! Seriously wish this man the absolute best and can’t wait for future endeavors!

Another shout out to everyone who partakes in ANYTHING and everything I do in life! My goal is for everyone to be seen, everyone to be heard & everyone to be respected! I make it KNOWN who I work with. No one is left in the shadows. I have a community to uplift. It can easily be misunderstood. But I know my intentions are pure! I wish everyone the best but cross me once & I STILL wish you the best and that you eat as well, just not at my table.
