Meet Joseph ‘Le Prince’ Lopodi Gaza | Producer/Artist/Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Joseph ‘Le Prince’ Lopodi Gaza and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Joseph ‘Le Prince’ Lopodi, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
It’s all about ensuring you have the proper schedule ready for the week. To me, work and life are two sides of the same coin. You don’t want to take on too much at once, and you don’t want to go too far into the unknown because you might not come back.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’ve always been “a business man”. I profit, I take losses, I expand and at times relocate. What sets me apart is that I’m not afraid to make a new merger. Good business is good business and you gotta know when to accept new opportunities. It’s all about teamwork. Being an employee for any company teaches one to trust the process and have patience for the growth of the business. Being a professional teaches you to hustle hard to make that growth happen. Consistency is everything, the faster you learn it. The better off you’ll be.
It’s a long process so don’t expect it to be easy. As a matter of fact, the only thing you can expect in this game is ‘Growth’, everything else is just work/life. My best advice is to study your brand and make sure you know what builds it and what tears it down. You don’t want to work for the opposite result.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Definitely the beach. It’s one of the best places to catch a nice breeze and relaxation and in the afternoon. There are also a few good restaurants in Korea-town where you can get some good barbequing done. There are a lot of new spots opening up in Hollywood, and I’m always down to go see what’s happening.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’ve been collaborating with several people since I’ve been in the game. Though lately, I’ve been getting some love and guidance from my man ‘Shawn Barron’ over at ‘Motown Records’. It’s been an interesting time in LA and it’s nice to have pros like him shining a little light on the path. I also want to give a shoutout to my manager ‘Terrece’, even though the industry is on strike right now she’s been holding things down for me, and I really appreciate her for it.
