Hi Joyce, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
Divine Self Love has been in business since 2017. Since then, I have worked on thousands of women doing 90 min one-on one Divine Reiki Healing treatments. My journey has been epic with its ups and down, challenges and blessings…so far an obstacle course has been the way for me. I would not change it for the world, It’s all been so worth it! I am grateful and honored to work with powerful and gorgeous women that come to me for my healing services. It’s still very interesting to me that GOD brought me this type of clientele. My clients are truly inspiring authors, corporate lawyers, models, entrepreneurs, actors, doctors, judges, the list goes on. All these women from different backgrounds, all share basic commonalities such as recognizing their self-worth. Both ladies need protection from the backlash they receive from being beautiful and also having ambition and brains. There is so much more to these amazing women than what appears on the surface and what others can see.

“Let my positivity bend Fate in my favor” is one of my favorite affirmations to chant. It implies one must keep their inner narrative in check. First and foremost, your thoughts towards yourself should always be positive. I always tell my clients, “Think of your soul as your roommate. What would you do if every time you went home you had a nasty roommate who verbally abused you with vile judgments of you. What would you do? Please have compassion and nip the negative inner narrative in the bud. You signed a contract to be here and you and your soul are here to complete your life mission and the only way to do that is by treating your spirit with unconditional love and support”. Sounds so simple yet it is a difficult quality to embrace for it’s a divine quality.

Exciting news for 2024! I’ve created an oracle deck of 72 cards to perform ritual magic for love, health, money, protection. and achieve emotional balance. The main power quote in the deck is “Let my positivity bend fate in my favor”. I also worked with my partner Mike Ng to make beautiful Bend Fate candles to shift your mindset so that you are in an ideal position for manifestation. Everything is being sold a la carte but also comes in a beautiful Box of Shadows that is locally delivered in the westside area of L.A.

“My energy shield is a gift from above.” and “My energy shield is my trusted defender”, are other powerful affirmations embedded in my evil eye trucker hats. The affirmations provide confidence and assurance that we are always protected by the universe. These magical evil eye hats fend off haters and protect against malice and misfortune. The evil eye symbol is a supernatural belief inspired by envy. The symbol is believed to provide protection against malevolent glares that intend for something bad to happen to the recipient.

I have created these tools and merchandise so that my clients can hand over their problems to the Higher Power of their own unique understanding.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Our world is always changing which triggers transformation within us. From a young age, I have been on my own, having my own studio apartment by the age of 16 years old. I had to adjust and acclimate in order to survive. I was a child trying to figure life out and all I can say is that if it wasn’t for GOD protecting me, I would not be here to write this. I have experienced many struggles and challenges in my life which have given me the strength and wisdom I have today to share. I have been of service to my community consistently since 2016, putting forth tremendous effort towards helping others. I am the Fairy Godmother of the westside where everyone comes to me for support through their transitions. I created Divine Self Love to help people follow their path by gaining clarity around their situations. I offer spell-like energetic therapies that help individuals gain control over undesired behaviors. I assist my clients in finding resolutions that need to happen in order for them to start fresh. I LOVE MY MAGICAL FAIRY WORK. My heart is bigger than my clients’ suffering. I am here and ready to guide my clients to feel their emotions and to make peace with whatever has transpired.

Divine Self Love allows me to be my authentic true SELF. I have the privilege to share my intuitive gifts and touch the lives of many wonderful people through my treatments, spiritual candles, meditations, and yoga.

I designed my Divine Reiki session to help individuals value and admire who they are. I teach how to connect to your higher self so the Divine can show you the best possible way through . Divine Reiki provides a toolkit for expanded thinking and a roadmap for creating the life you desire.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting the area and I wanted to show them the best time ever, I would no doubt start by taking them to LouLou in Santa Monica. LouLou is a beautiful rooftop French and Californian restaurant that blends amazing food with live music. It is the best place for brunch in the area. After catching up at LouLou, we would walk around 3^rd street Promenade and start shopping. If we don’t find what we were looking for, we would hop in the car and drive to the Westfield Century City mall which has all of my favorite stores to shop at. Not only that, but the modern outdoor design of the mall is breathtaking to walk through. Once we’d shopped enough to get hungry again, we would head to my favorite street in LA, Abbot Kinney Blvd. There we could grab a quick lunch at The Butcher’s Daughter which is a plant-based café. Hopefully, we’d be there during happy hour so we could enjoy discounts along with our Earl Grey Mule cocktails. Once the sun sets, I would take my best friend to the Rooftop Cinema Club in El Segundo for a movie, snacks, and maybe another cocktail. Finally, I would end the night by going to Belles Beach House in Venice. Belles Beach House is a Hawaiian restaurant with delicious food and stunning interior design that makes you feel like you are in Hawaii. Other places that would be a must on my list would be the Getty Center (art museum), Rodeo Drive (luxury shopping), EP&LP (rooftop bar), Playa Vista Farmer’s Market (every Saturday), The Grove LA (outdoor shopping center), and The Hammer Museum (art museum).   

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?

I nominate Sam Aiello and Daleet Sector. Sam is a holistic health chef and certified coach. She helps females heal through weight loss and detox. She is also a yogini which means she is a female master yoga teacher and spiritual guide.

Daleet is a yoga instructor and a fantastic interior designer. She also has a blog where she writes about travel, design, shopping, and more. Both of these women are incredibly strong and talented and deserve to be recognized.

I have also always been in employment, affiliation and involvement with large corporations such as Hot 8 Yoga, Core Power Yoga , Cedar Sinai Hospital and local hotels in the westside area to stay involved within my community. I have been consistent with my teachings and volunteer work for the last 8 years

Being a volunteer at Cedar Sinai hospital has also helped me grow as an entrepreneur. I have volunteered for the last 8 years in almost every department at the hospital.
