We had the good fortune of connecting with Julie Greene and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Julie, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Risk is everything. But I think risk goes beyond the obvious choices and decisions we make both big and small everyday. I think the biggest risk that one can take in business is being authentic. It takes an enormous amount of vulnerability and courage to be authentic, especially in business. In my opinion there’s no other way to get to true success without the risk of authenticity.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Julie Greene Inc. represents a culmination of my decades of experience as an entrepreneur and business owner. I use my intuitive gifts to provide vision, clarity and direction to individuals and businesses who are just beginning the journey or who are feeling stuck along the way. I’ve launched magazines, owned my own clothing store and was a fashion stylist in New York for ten years, before I got into branding and creative strategy. I’m also an avid student of the Tarot and a Certified Life Coach. I’ve pooled all these experiences and talents together with my ability to receive information from higher sources of intelligence. This is the guidance and insight I offer to my clients through consultations, coaching and creative strategy.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well considering I’ve lived in New York, LA, Chicago, San Francisco and Detroit, I could probably write a book on all the cool places in each of those cities. Currently I live in Marin County which is just over the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco. Nature is a big deal here so I like to take visitors to the ocean and on beautiful hikes through the forests. There’s lots of secret little spots here so I love to explore with those that are up for an adventure.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
